I was looking for the Fendi Charm and Evy thread and thought I would share this--- I am in love with the Fendi Strap You straps and they would be awesome for a Kelly.



I have this one for my feu Evy but it would be fabulous on Kelly!! Just a thought.

Hi there, it took so long to get here and then found some flaws, such as leather markings, etc . The seller gave me a small refund of shipping fee. It was a minor issue and will only be using this for crossbody days, have original shoulder length strap

I know you said the workmanship is not good, but the fact that it is adjustable is great. Do you mind if I ask how much it cost. Also, how long did it take?

I am short and always have to tie my Kelly-canvas straps at the top, so they don't hit me too low. I know H said they can shorten them, but I am not motivated to leave them for months right now.

Also, does anyone have any idea on how to make the canvas strap shorter temporarily or make it adjustable, without the need for cutting, etc.? Thanks!

My bag is a TGM size. I am 5 feet, but love big bags. Anyhow, the strap was just too long. I wanted the bag to hang just below the armpit, as I carry quite a bit in it. This strap is the shortest size....

i think it looks good. I've been contemplating a mautto canvas strap for my kelly. i'm still not sure... the Hermes price and wait time sounds a little impractical. let us know how the strap holds up with time

Hi iamrose, I sure will! It's pretty sturdy and feels good! Of course, I was so desperate I even contemplated mutilating the strap that came with it, but decided against that! [emoji51] Worked out in the end though, so I am now a happy camper 🤓.

Sure, 25" adjustable, the color silver #14. At first I thought, oh gosh, this is gonna be too short. Once I attached it, I could shorten it even more. It really works for me. I hope it does for you also! 🤓

Looking for some advice on ordering straps for my 32 sellier BBK (GHW). I'd like one in black and one in lime for fun. One could be leather (1" wide?) and one canvas. So which should be in canvas, the lime or the black?

I have a BBK from late seventies in great condition, and when I asked in H about ordering a canvas strap I was strongly advised against using a shoulder strap at all as the rings on the bag aren't designed for it, and it may lead to unnatural stresses and eventual damage.
Later Kelly has D rings which are for the attachment of a strap.

I have Kellys from the 80s and they came with straps? I asked if get could change them to double loops, and they said it wouldn't be worth the cost to me. They did suggest to keep the bag light.

The main reason I use my Kellys is because of the strap option. Order a strap and use it with caution. For example, don't put much in the bag when using the strap, and don't carry the bag for more than 2 weeks at a time. Hope that helps keep your Kelly in good shape

Thanks. My BBK is from 1979. I was wondering about the extra rings for attaching straps. Mistikat said they were introduced in 2000. I have also been concerned about the extra weight. Will be super careful!
