I know, I am leaning that way. The navy is a thicker box, o in a circle, and the black is also thick enough, but not as thick, a in a square, so I guess there are differences, lol!

The navy is so easy for my everyday, jeans and casual top, and then I can still get away with using it with work outfits and lunches, and well, the BBK, is the quintessential bag I think

Anyone ever tried to get a strap color similar to etrusque or brick?

Yay or Nay ? Should I consider this Fendi "Strap You" Bag Straps for my K?
I wanted the embellished patterns straps but it's not available at all in my city. Even the regular strap is on 'waiting' list! I almost fainted when I heard that.
Anyway, Now I've a chance to get my hand on this python strap, so should I go for it or just wait till I travel overseas to look for the design that I want (could be slim change to get what I want since it's 'hot' item now&#128528? What do you think? Look forward to hear your opinion😊😊

hmmm... not a fan of the strap. too much going on since you have a ghillie.. i think a plain canvas strap works better. jmho though

Thanks chincac... Indeed I've ordered H amazone strap in Etoupe color last year and still no news on delivery😑😑 so I'm considering F as alternative option 😅

the canvas straps does take patience. i ordered mine thinking it will never turn up shockingly one took "only" 7 months..still waiting for the other one..sighh..

Nice strap but don't think it goes too well with your ghilles. Maybe wait for a plainer design if possible.

Thanks ahhgoo for inputs.. I've told F's SA to release the strap. So I'll try my luck to find what I want or patiently waiting for H strap 😅

Keep both! I actually missed that navy blue and found another one like it but from 1979 with no strap. I bought a non H canvas strap from mautto. Waiting for it

Also I ordered a brown canvas strap for my miel croc Kelly which is similar to etrusque color so I'll let u know how that works

Yes I have both and true, they are very close in color. My black came with the H leather strap and my navy did not so I ordered the leather strap from Mautto for the navy. I sourced my own canvas and hardware and had my shoemaker copy a Hermes canvas strap that I had from a GParty and made canvas straps for both Kellys. They came out great and I believe I posted the pix on this thread. I also had a black and white strap made with palladium HW and I have used that on my togo black Kelly and my black Kelly Flat.

I too liked the idea of using the navy Kelly with the canvas strap as a more casual bag. It isn't what you would expect with box leather and that makes it more fun to me.

I understand that you can't put a shoulder strap on older Kellys. Does anyone know HOW OLD? and also why? Something about the hardware or the weight or what? Sorry if this has already been answered - my search skillz are sub-par.
