Noisy, squeaky Chains?

I applied baby powder to the chain. I did it very carefully with a clean eyeshadow brush. Then I wiped off the excess baby powder with a clean soft cloth, went over it again each link front and back individually with a clean eyeshadow brush and a qtip in the tight spaces. I managed to wipe away all the visible powder and there is ZERO squeaking. Hallelujah!!!!!
