When I worked with her she was cool. Not everybodies hair can withstand the demands of production. When I work on a different movie my hair was wrecked for a year after 2 months of shooting. Most ladies do their hair once a day actresses have their hair cranked on no less than 10x a day. Her wigs are not cheap they are made by a production wig maker which is a hair union position. They did photograph a bit shiny, defiantly could have used some sea salt spray.
If the wigs are not cheap, why the bangs which scream, now you don't have to look at the hairline?

you mean cool as in icy? or cool in a good way?
are you a hairdresser? actress? in what capacity did you work with her

Don't take my word for it. Look at the union schedules for key wig makers. A lace front isn't always the best choice for a number of reasons. Stunting, time/ scheduling, her personal preferances. Who knows maybe she was hiding bruising from fresh botox.

I can tell you for a fact Lupita Nyongo is like that. And she wasn't having a bad day either. Wish I had never met her because I was such a fan. No more.
That's sucks but she could come around later in life. The ones who have a major break early can have that thing unfortunately. Nothing like a career stall out to launch an attitude adjustment.

But it's not just Nicole in Big Little Lies, it's Jen Anston in bad movies, Kate Hudson, Julia Roberts, Gwyneth Paltrow -- you see the silly bangs, you know instantly it's a wig.

it's like they (production) are not even trying.

Some some of them arnt. I'm not saying bad wigs don't happen they do! Take a stroll over to the Lifetime channel. However you only ones that I have seen with my own eyes are Nicole's and because of that I know she prefers a have some kind of hair in, at minimum a fall. Only bigger productions can afford a wig maker + their expendables. In which case they rent from the hair stylist working and the department.
