Shailene said during an interview that she doesn't own a TV and then went on to say that she doesn't understand how people have time to watch TV. She said she's always liked to read a book. Such a stupid thing to say at the emmys when she was nominated for a tv show. She was appropriately dragged by the internet for her comment.

Lol. Some people are so pretentious and full of caca.

Apparently she doesn't mind TV money since she's not getting film roles.

She is not getting fim roles??? She shooted two movies already this year, and she is about to shoot a new one in a few days... The Boy Erased I think.

She said she wanted to do BLL because at the time there wasn't many strong females roles in Holywood and she is absolutely right imo. There are better, juicier, stronger and more challenging roles for women on tv right now.

I had the pleasure to work with Nicole in the "Railway Man" and have only positive things to say about her. Super professional, sweet and kind to everyone. She is a pro.
I can only speak from my experience, but fortunately rarely have bad experiences with celebs...maybe the exception is Charlize Theron, who I've worked twice. Not that she is nasty or mean, but she is not an "easy" person.

Agree -- her natural hair from back in the day was huge, thick and gorgeous!

My stylist used to work on her hair when she was in Toronto for premiers (he doesn't like taking the day off anymore to follow a celeb around) and said she wasn't happy until she made everyone cry.

"He"???? I'm sorry but something seems off in your story.
Her hair stylist in Toronto is/was Kylee Heath, who has been working with her for years, and always makes Nicole's hair in America ( in Europe she works with John Nollet).
I just don't get why some people spread fake stories about celebrities...I'm not saying you are lying on purpose, but the story your stylist told you is not true.

Anyway, back to Nicole at the Emmys, her CK red dress is iconic. She looks amazing and the Emmy was well deserved, the best female performance on tv this year, alongside Elizabeth Moss

So odd. . . I'd take other people's experiences/stories w/ a grain of salt tbh. I've only known one person who's worked close enough to her to have gotten a vibe of what she's like and she loved her. Said she was very warm, funnier than she expected and seemed pretty humble, almost quiet.

but can't she have more than one stylist? When meeting celebs, people will always have different opinions and such.

Why wasn't Shaylene Woodley in any of the pics or mentioned in the speeches?. Hmmmm.. even when he whole cast was on stage she was on the opposite side as Nicole & Reese.
Nicole's face looks so taut its like it was rolled with a rolling pin.
Zoe wasn't mentioned in any speeches either, they thanked each other but never mentioned her, and her character was a vital part of the show, and it's ending. I would have at least expected Nicole to thank her, especially given their history. Nicole's speech was very good though - she's very poised when accepting awards.

Did you really watch Nicole's speech???
She thanked Zoe....and Shaylene.
People really see what they want to see...

She is on my top three. Yes, I'm a fan.
I don't want to sound rude, but some comments really anoy me. First , people tried to create a "thing" with Shaylene, than Nicole was rude to people, than she didn't thank to everyone...

Working in cinema, backstage, I see often people being unfair and picky with celebrities. I just don't like it...
And makes me angry when people spread fake stories.
The think is that i'm friends with Kyle, Nicole's hair stylist, so I KNOW for a fact that that story is untrue...
Nicole usually works with different make up artists in the US, but I say it again, her hairstylist is Kyle, she travels with her when she has commitments inAmerica. She doesn't trust her hair to anyone else, apart from John Nollet, who is a genious as well.
