Nicki's not gonna lose her pop fans - heck her fans are on IG/twitter posting 16s them damn selves - but if she wants to show her face at Summer Jam and the likes again, she can NOT stay silent. She spent much of her past album era trying to rebuild her "street cred" and rappity rap fan base and now this is f****ing it all up for her again.
Nicki had no problem throwing subs on two recent features (and getting mad at radio DJs not giving her credit for them), but as soon as Remy called her out by name, it's crickets and deflections.
Getting mad Trey Songz, posting pics about Remy's record sales, liking shady posts on IG, dragging Beyoncé into it even, but not one single BAR to be found anywhere. That's weak sauce.

What does their age have to do with it? It's hip-hop. I don't understand when people put age limits on hip-hop. Kool Herc created the break beat in the 70s, Rappers Delight came out in '79 and The Message came out in '82 so hip hop is 40-45 years old...the originators are only in their 50s/60s. Obviously, we're going to see folks careers span into their 40s...it's a relatively new genre. No one mentions rockers ages when they're doing the fundamentals of rock well into their 70s. KRS told Shan the Bridge is Over in 86/87, IIRC, and ended Shan's career. It became the definitive diss track by which all is measured. If a diss or dissemination track is one of the fundamentals of hip-hop to proving your skills as an MC, then why is age a factor?

There's also a piece of this that's iconic and ironic for the older generation of hip-hop heads that it's the BX vs Queens much like The Bridge.

Nicki needed someone to light a fire under her behind, honestly. She was able to call herself a Queen because no one called her bluff. I'm not huge Remy or Nicki fan but I'm here for this beef.

I don't think Remy is done with her.

Two women in their mid 30's waiting to throw jabs at each other is beyond stupid (your job makes no difference). Remy is a mother, so it's okay to teach your kids lets throw jabs at people? What happened to being the bigger person and ignoring stupid people. So you're teaching your kids, because we are from Castle Hill, this is how we act? What happened to being a lady and taking the high road? Makes no difference what borough you are from. They need to grow up. There are so many other things they need to focus their time on. Clearly Remy learned nothing while she was in jail.
