I am a good customer, especially over the past couple years and they always call me a VIP, contact me early if something on my wish list is going on sale, etc. They let me know early about special collections they think I would like (although I usually know about them before that from TPF). But I have never once received a F&F code.

I'm a regular customer at two different Coach stores back at my old city, and every one of the SA's knew me by name. On top of that, they all tell me I'm their "best" customer, whatever that means. 4 years there, thousands spent a year, forget about a code, never heard a whisper about the F&F. Each SA supposedly get 5 of these each, not sure if that's including his/her own.

And there were one or two tpF members who seem to think that there are just "better" buyers than myself, dollar-wise or else, so whatever.
That's funny.....where I work, our sales people always tell us it is their "best broker"! I've been in my business a long time and it just doesn't phase me that I need to consider this in coming up with better cost for this person. They are all "the best". Or a sales person will tell you...."you're the best!". Yeah, right....I'm as good as the last sale I helped you with!

Exactly, either they say that to everybody, or it doesn't matter much anyway. Can't control these customers feeling slighted though, when they find out afterwards about promotions that they've never been invited to! So much for "the best".

Ha, once I was in the store and a SA was pulling up my info, and I saw four dollar signs next to my name; no idea if they have a code by how much each person spend. I've never caused them trouble either, but maybe that's why there is no incentive to offer me anything; a sale in the bag is too easy to take for granted.

I'm running out of things to buy and should back off. They always suck me in with some new thing, though!

I'm not sure how to start a new thread or if I can but for those of us that have many bags and especially the 1941 ones, what are you all doing in regard to your homeowners coverage and documenting in case of a situation you need to file a claim? We've invested a lot of money in these bags even on sale. I need to start taking detailed photos and with the receipt next to it so I have a record but probably also look at my limits on my policy.

Just curious what others may have done.

This is a great topic. It's been bugging me about checking my insurance to how much (or even if) it'll cover in case something happens to any of my bags.

I've bought so many in the last 2.5 years with the 1941 line that I'm starting to think about this. AND I just moved a bunch down from the attic where I keep them in totes - suede or exotic finds a home downstairs, though. I live in a smaller space so having the attic has been great but it isn't insulated. I just moved a lot of the good stuff downstairs because a new roof is being put on soon and it will be such a dusty mess up there once they are done. I've encased anything I didn't bring down in garbage bags and then will cover with tarps so hoping that prevents any dust from getting in them! I'm dreading the clean up.....but it has made me realize how much I have and need to pair some things down but the bags are hard to give up!

My SA texted me earlier this week and asked me to come in and see her this week before Thursday. So I went in today to see her. She gave me the card for the extra 20% and told me that all sale items will be 50% starting tomorrow. She told me that they do not mail these extra 20% cards. And that sale is for June 14-17.

Yes, this is the F&F that the other members are talking about earlier in the thread.
