I just noticed that. I guess I'll get my stuff a day earlier.
Alright, I think I stirred the pot with me saying the word random. I should have explained it it is a random selection of the top customers because maybe one customer didn't use her invite the past two times but still spent a lot- she may not get another one. It is not an event this time where it's random as in one customer who spends 10k a year doesn't get one but one who spent 38$ did. Know what I mean?
If you do spend a lot and did not get one, go into your store during the event and be nice about it and ask if you can have one. They will most likely give it to you, you could even just say your best friend got one but you didn't. To be honest, if someone brings it up to me or any of my girls at the store- i'll let them have the discount. I'm not going to lose a customer or a potential customer over a silly card and not letting them use it. Also, it's not like every customer who walks in knows about it either- so it's not like every transaction has the 25% off on it.
Like I said about my top customer not being on the list too, of course she still is invited- we know who our top top customers are by name so we can tell when their not on the list.
So ladies, drink a glass of wine- create your wishlist and during the event (Dec 2-10) go talk up your favorite smiling SA and kindly ask her about it.
Honestly, I don't think this is possible for me. Here in Houston, I haven't found any SAs that are that nice, or that willing to help me out with a coupon. I've resorted to searching Ebay for one. I've called and been in the Coach store a couple times in the past week, and I've mentioned this 25% off coupon that I haven't gotten and they are just not willing to tell me anything other than "Well it's random and we have nothing to do with it, because it's the corporate office that decides. We have no say in it." They don't at all sound very willing to give me the discount anyway. I really think me going into the store and asking if I could get the discount, isn't going to work for me.
Am I just doing this wrong? Meaning, each time I go into the Coach store I just buy from the first person that helps me out. I don't make it a point to just go to one person. Is that what I need to be doing?![]()
Also, I've asked the SAs here about pre-sales for the discount event, and they act like they have no clue what I'm talking about. Is the pre-sale just where you can have your bag(s) held to make sure they won't be sold out when you go to use the coupon? Because one person I talked to in the retail store had no idea what this pre-sale meant and told me they only have their usual policy of being able to hold bags for up to 48 hours. Honestly, more than anything they make me feel like I have no clue what I'm talking about when I go in to ask them stuff. It's frustrating. :s
The SAs here on the boards seem so nice and willing to help everyone out, but the ones I deal with here in town don't seem like that at all. It's a little discouraging.
sprinkles....I see how you are quite helpful answering everyone's questions so I am hoping you might be able to answer a question I have. I am expecting to receive the 25% discount soon and live quite far from a retail store. Why are we not able to use the discount on-line? I've called the store in the next state closest to where I live and they do not even have the legacy satchels in the store. I would have to drive 2 hours to go to the store to order what I want and have it delivered anyway. Can't Coach be more accomodating by allowing us to purchase on-line and still receive the discount? Any help you can offer would be very much appreciated.
