That was me! I noticed the price differences when they rang up my heure double tour - they rang it up for $2600 instead of $2300 - but my cashier was well informed and caught on to it asap. I think some of the cashiers were hermes employees and others were haskin employees and that made a big difference. She price adjusted all my bangles, watches and even caught a price difference on one of my fragrances that I did not.

That is very professional of her. Unfortunately I don't read your comment before entering the sale. I realized Hermes over charged me when I got home and read the receipt

I guess if Hermes weren't so freak out by people take pictures of the sale I would've tried to check the price on the website thru my cell. Oh well lesson learned.

I've been overcharged at Soiffer before and never had to wait on line. I just showed up with my merchandise and receipt, explained the situation to the folks at the door and they let me right up. What I found really interesting was that there were price stickers on the Cape Cods showing a retail price of $3090 when that price does not exist anywhere on the website for any size or model!

At any rate, there should be a number for H corporate and I'm sure you can call them about being overcharged. Good luck!

While at the sale, I looked at two TGM Cape Cod watches, one was priced at $2,900 while the other was $3,300. The watch face was identical but one had an alligator strap while the less expensive one had a berenia strap. I questioned the price difference with the SA and was told the price difference is based on the strap. Given that an alligator replacement strap for this watch retails for $700 while the plain leather is much cheeper the price difference makes sense.

I appreciate your point of view but the watch I looked at was a PM double tour Cape Cod with a barenia strap. It's $2750.

Hi Restricter

I'm wasn't commenting to or disagreeing with your statement, I only wanted to describe my experience and why it made sense to me I'm not as experienced as you, did not expect to find watches and certainly did not know watch prices before encountering them at the sale. I bought the TPM with the alligator strap and thought I got an excellent deal at 50% off.

I'm sorry to hear that! The first public day they were not strict on cell phones at all. I took mine out to text my mom a few things that I thought she would like and saw a lot of people doing that. No one said anything. I head on the last day they were a lot more strict.

I was checking over the prices with a friend of mine that went to the sale with me and saw that she too was charged the $475 - checked my bangles and some had the $450 price tag and some had the $475 price tag which I found strange since they were the same size and style but my cashier price adjusted them all.

I think it really had to be the difference between a hermes cashier and a haskin cashier.

Haskin is usually really great in fixing an adjustment but its usually a sale that is run by haskin - the hermes sale I was told was not - that is why you wouldn't find it on their website, no sign on the building, no emails sent out about it. They had hermes security brought in - never seen so many guys in black suits at a sale before and hermes employees added to the haskin ones.

When my friend went back to have it adjusted the next day, she was told that they could not since the prices were set by hermes and not haskin. What ever that meant.

I was there on Friday afternoon around 3pm. Those SAs and security guards were on high alert. I saw a young asian girl was harassed by 2 staff members at the sale. One of the SA force her to open her cell phone twice in front of her to proof to her that she didn't take any photo. 2nd SA told the same asian girl that if we caught you taking pictures we will escort you out the sale. Hence I didn't even attempt to open my cell.

I will try to give the Hermes 800 customer service a call on Monday and see if they are willing to adjust for me.

Geez! There are photos all over the sample sale websites anyway. Not sure that SA had the right to make the customer open her private phone.

That is horrible! I was there Thursday morning at 9 and no one was asked to put away cell phones. Ppl were texting, calling, I even saw one lady next to me on ebay. Which I thought was a bit much but no one was saying anything.
