And a few pics I took outside. It's hard to capture the colors but I would say Watermelon is comparable to my Legacy Carnelian pieces. The Mineral is comparable to my Cobalt. They're both nice colors.

Okay I'm just totally loving these bags!!! I'm thinking I need one of these bags in my life-these pix aren't helping hahha. I was debating between black and Forest, but now that I see this blue I might have another decision to make. [emoji51]. You said the blue is comparable to Legacy's cobalt? Can you do a comparison pic? Also, what color is the lining?

Yes, I think you need one! lolol. I don't think you could go wrong with any color as I had to keep myself from ordering black from FOS this morning. I had the Patricia Legacy version but it seemed a little tight getting my items in and out. The zipper would scratch my hand when I reached inside but I don't have that problem with this bag. This bag seems a tad larger but it certainly weighs less. The zipper is really nice, too, glides so easy that I can zip open and closed without using the other hand to hold the bag still, if you know what I mean. I've only zipped it when I had to lay my bag flat this morning to go through airport security so my stuff wouldn't fall out but the flap stayed closed so it was all good.
As a side note, I like the bag so much I called a FP store to ask if they would monogram it. Of course the answer was no (and I already knew that but tried anyway). They said if they damaged a factory item during the process, they would not be able to replace it. They wouldn't even entertain monogramming the hang tag.......oh well. I tried!

Ellumina this bag looks great on you! I want this bag bad, I've seen this at our local younkers store and the leather feels incredible.Yes, there is a pocket on the back of the bag. It should show in pic #2. EDIT: Oh! I forgot to answer about the blue. I didn't take a close look at it since I wasn't interested in the shade. It was nice, just not for me. A bit bright for my liking.

Hi there! I'm late to the party on this, but I recently stopped by an outlet to do an FOS return, and couldn't decide between these - so I grabbed both, obviously! I still have my old Patricia bag (black/brass) from the early 90s, so this was a good throwback for me with the different lining/hardware/topstitching
My question for you, since you have the same ones I do, is whether you think the black is a "rougher" leather than the oxblood? All of the black ones at the store were very rough-feeling, where my oxblood one is super soft. Especially the strap... the oxblood strap just kind of flops, but the black strap feels really stiff. I know with use/conditioning the leather will soften up, but it just seems interesting that only the black seems to have this issue. I also felt a few of the others (tan/blue/coral), and they all felt more soft/smooth than the black.
Just curious... I already decided I'm for sure keeping the oxblood, but since I already have a vintage black one, do I need another? The different hardware and lining/topstitch keeps calling to me, lol.

I would say if you're interested in the bag, maybe try to get one soon - they were very limited on all colors at my outlet (which was one of only 2 outlets in my state that got them in). They only had one oxblood left, and one saddle when I called. I put the oxblood on hold over the phone and when I was there I saw the lone saddle get picked up, so I was happy that I put one on hold
They had a bunch of the coral and blue, but I asked them to get me a couple of black ones from the back so I could compare to the 3 they had on the floor (wanted to get the "best" leather one with the fewest scuffs). They only had 3 in the back, so after I left that meant they had only 5... I had the tiered email coupon that brought them down by another 25%, so if you have that it's a pretty good price if you buy it at this time!
Off-topic, I took advantage of that coupon (or was I taken advantage of?) by purchasing a handful of keychains/bag charms because they had some emojis and other large luggage-tag style ones. I have almost all of my "stocking stuffer" gifts ready for the holidays and it's early October!
