Oh, I wish it were mine but it's NOT. I had no right to continue visiting Winners for this bag because I need another handbag like I need another hole in my head - BUT she sold the next day after I took this picture.


I took mod shots with her too - perfect shade of vibrant red imo but oh well. Another one has not appeared. There was just the one single red one. There were 2 tan ones though. Those are gone too.

Have never seen this in pebbled leather! Very nice!!! Thank goodness, these bags have names - easier to pin down when you search. Does it come in any other colours? Was it marked down?

More pictures of my RL double zip satchel with the embossed equestrian bridle pattern. The leather is spazzolato and not specchio as I first said. That's good; specchio is harder to take care of. I wish my photos could show the rich black of this bag.

Thanks Fim!!! You'd be proud of me, by the way - the total of both the RL and the Furla was still within BI limits. It helped that neither was bought at full-price :giggles:

I saw these for the first time today. I am loving the pebbled leather and the triple zip plus double compartment design. The Bay has it in 4 colours: black, Lauren tan, red and plum. I'd like it a tad more minus the tiny gold embellishments (yes, rather it be plain) but it's really nice.

I regret (major REGRET) not buying the lipstick red Winford satchel from Winners earlier this past Sept (at Winners). The leather was smooth but not buffed super smooth delicate prone to scuffs n scratches - it was a gorgeous shade of red...sigh. The Winford doesn't pop up when you google it - it's sort of rare, I guess?

There have also been some great deals at Winners and today, this was tempting me: Winford double zip satchel. I really like the leather on the Winford bag because it's NOT saffiano type leather, not patent (not as stiff - spazzolato), not as stiff as polished- buffed so it's smooth but not the super easy to scratch type leather. Anyway, this red is a very pretty shade of red imo. They have one in Lauren Tan as well - classic. Boy, if I could I'd have a collection of these including black & blue but that's why I got into trouble and had to consign & purge my collection - I pick up too many! My photo doesn't do the bag justice.

Sad that I did not buy this - major regret now. It was lovely in Lauren Tan too but the red is simply stunning! Here are some mod shots at Winners - excuse my slovenly attire...major rain gear weather :p

Hmmm, thanks for that reminder - that's very true. Even though a sharp lipstick red handbag is classic and goes with a lot; it's not 'neutral'. I can think of a variety of outfits where I would not want to carry a red bag at all. I mean, it wouldn't be a criminal offense but I'd be an eyesore :p

for me I think it's kind of just who I am
I find when I buy red clothing it's the same way. I like it in the store but it's so bright that I just don't feel in the mood to wear it often.
