They're growing on me. And now I have vintage LV boxes and bags. That's the best part.

I feel they will be thinner than current boxes if they collapse as shown above.
The current LV collapsible boxes (used for bigger bags) are terrible, so it can only be an improvement. I hope the new boxes are collapsible so they are easy to store. The brown boxes tend to break at the corners when piled up.
I stand by my original statement that the only thing I care about is what is in the box but these boxes to me are just a giant NO! I feel like when I open this new box there should be chocolate truffles inside not a handbag,
One of the things I always loved about my boxes was that they can't get dirty. I store them in my closet, on display in a tower. I imagine with the lighter boxes they're much less likely to remain "clean" looking, or arrive clean looking even. I recently received an item with the brown box and my first brown ribbon. I do prefer the leather cording since they hug the boxes perfectly. I have to say, I like the blue ribbon though. And I'll always be excited to receive my LV packages regardless of the colors of the packaging 
Chocolate truffles made me laugh out loud. That's exactly what it looks like. Too funny!
It's ok, but the old one was more classy. Maby LV will take distance from Gucci with this new design.
I hope these are a darker yellow, as the picture reflects. Nothing personal to LV, but I don't really fancy finding a brown damier ebene nugget in a pool of yellow packaging. Something about it rubs me the wrong way...
I like the brown packaging MUCH better. I think the new colors look "cheap". I do not think I will ever "grow" to like them
