New packaging - no more brown *pics on pg 12*

In Sydney they still have the old packaging, while in Melbourne they have already rolled it out!!

Didn't like the new packaging in pictures but it's quite lovely and eye-catching in person. I believe LV achieved their desired effect with the new packaging!! It's also much roomier yet still as sturdy (if not more) than the old packaging! Here's the box I got with my mini pochette compared to the old box!

When I purchased my NF, I only had the paper bag and no boxes. Just last weekend, I purchased LV favorite bag and the wonderful store manager wrap it in a box with leather tie and a brown bag! I love the leather tie...she even included her calling card in case I wanted something. I bought it in holts LV in bloor st

I bought a Pochette Metis from the Hong Kong boutique (Canton Road) last week, and I got the new packaging. I was initially shocked because I forgot about it. But shock quickly turned to a smile.

I like it. I like the magnetic close box (similar to Chanel). No more air vacuum sucking sounds when I shimmy open my LV box. And I like the new color too.

Sure it's different from the brown I'm used to, but it felt like a refreshing change.

This must be a silly question.. but how do you fold this new packaging? I cannot seem to figure it out.. Also, is it true they don't give out those little care booklets anymore? Thanks!

I agree that orange reminds me of Hermes, too.

If you look inside the box there are small blue ribbon tabs. Pull it forward (don't worry you won't break it and the box should fall)
