Hey guys!

I bought the regular Love in the new hinged version as the SA sort of insisted on it. I bought it overseas and in hindsight I kind of feel like they didn’t have my size in stock in the regular two screw system which I kept asking for but he sort of kept telling me the hinged one is more durable so I ended up buying it.
I regret that decision now after reading by someone on here that it’s thinner than the regular version but I’m not sure if it’s true. And the way it sits on my wrist (I’m male and my wrists are sort of defined / muscular) so the hinge is very visible which I do not like.
I kind of regret my purchase but I guess there’s nothing I can do about it now!

Just asking here what version you’d buy / you have bought and what you think of the hinged version? I want to feel better about my purchase 😂.

I have the original version and if they had the hinge version available back when I purchased I would have gone with the hinge. I also have small and I love the ease of removal and overall feel. I think you made the right decision! Enjoy your new Love!! :heart:

I bought a hinge version when they first came out, returned it (found it too basic), and purchased the classic two-screw version. I am very happy with it. I feel like any bracelet can be a hinge bracelet (and for the most part it is). I find the two-screw version more unique.

That’s exactly how I feel. It just doesn’t give the right vibe

I love the hinge version cause it’s easier to put on and off. Convenient for someone like me who goes to bed with no jewelry and switches out between yg and wg/platinum. My daughter also loves her hinge version. No regrets whatsoever. Now wondering if they have the brushed gold in the hinge version as well…

I am waiting on the release of the brushed version also! But that seems like it will take awhile?!

Hi. FYI - It is not thinner than the original classic, so do not worry about that. I have the hinge and love it. I can easily remove it when I want independently. I do see what you mean regarding the gap for the hinge but it still does have one screw to remove it, which is classic for the Cartier love. This version may or may not last.. but I like that I have one and I purchased it for the lowest price it will ever be. If you can exchange it, go for it because it’s an expensive item.. but if you cannot, then enjoy your bracelet and know most people won’t notice the hinge gap or see anything other than a classic and shiny Cartier in your wrist.

Agreed. I love the hinge version. I suppose it is personal preference but I don’t think the hinge is particularly noticeable to others.

Hey guys! I have an appointment on Friday to buy my first Love bracelet...:yahoo:I've been long overdue!!!

I originally wanted to go with the hinged mechanism because it seems sturdier, but after browsing the thread, it seems that there's a small gap where the hinge is, and knowing how picky I am, I know that would drive me crazy.

Now I'm more inclined to buy the original version with the two halves. I do love the history behind it, but I am worried that it may fall off my wrist. What are the pros and cons of each? I would only wear it alone. However, I do plan to buy the thin pave Love in the future to stack. I would also wear it 24/7 as designed, but I will have to take it off once this year due to some travels where I can't wear jewelry.
