New! Florentine "Barlow"

OK, here is the Barlow (not to be confused with the "Zip Barlow") in the new leather. The SA said this leather is "just like a leather jacket" and the bag is heavy. It has the fold-down handles and a long shoulder strap; price is $328.

Nice! This one isn't even on the website yet. It's lovely and especially appreciate the fold down handles. I noticed the Tilton's measurements when I checked out the bag online and if accurate it is a huge bag and probably very heavy. Doesn't stop me from lusting after all of these

I love the handles on it, and I like the new interior lining, too. I guess I'm getting burned out on red!! And yeah... pricey!!

I just talked to a SA at the Dallas boutique store. She said the stores don't have these new Florentines yet and there are "only a handful" of the Florentine Zip Barlow in the warehouse in the natural color.

She also said the new Tilton crossbody is HUGE, so pay attention to those measurements!!

She sent me a picture of a different Barlow bag in a new leather, probably part of the "City" collection. It doesn't look anything like the Florentine Zip Barlow. I'll see if I can post the pic she sent.

I saw the dimensions on the Tilton, geeze huge is an understatement.

Wow, that's pricey. My guess is the seller is targeting international buyers since apparently she ships international. I don't know why someone would not order direct from Dooney unless they do not offer international shipping.

I have seen even more outrageous pricing on Brahmin bags upwards of $1000.....and that's looking at the sold listings. So, I guess there is always that one buyer out there that will pay it. Amazing. Sorry, but I don't need a bag that badly, but everyone has there own magic number.
