There are a couple of new Florentines on the Dooney website; this "Barlow" and a new "Tilton" crossbody bag.

I notice that it has a new interior of brownish gingham instead of the old red Florentine interior.

I like!!! This is why I love Dooney so much. They are always coming out with new bags and styles. A good thing and a curse at the same time. It's a bit pricey but it looks well made.

When I saw this one on the website several days ago, I swallowed hard at the price, but knew there would be a trade in on this one. Love the look of this bag, and size wise is just right.:smile1:

I just talked to a SA at the Dallas boutique store. She said the stores don't have these new Florentines yet and there are "only a handful" of the Florentine Zip Barlow in the warehouse in the natural color.

She also said the new Tilton crossbody is HUGE, so pay attention to those measurements!!

She sent me a picture of a different Barlow bag in a new leather, probably part of the "City" collection. It doesn't look anything like the Florentine Zip Barlow. I'll see if I can post the pic she sent.

OK, here is the Barlow (not to be confused with the "Zip Barlow") in the new leather. The SA said this leather is "just like a leather jacket" and the bag is heavy. It has the fold-down handles and a long shoulder strap; price is $328.

Sarah,
Such great "scout work" on the Barlow's. The black one is beautiful, the leather on the handles is to die for. I figured the Florentine Barlow would be heavy enough. Surely they will have more of a supply of the Florentine Barlow's as time goes on. I wonder when Peter will unveil more of this City Collection?:smile1:

Hey Pix. Yes, I'm sure they will have plenty of stock later, but unfortunately the Friends & Family sale is on right now. :laugh: I am not a big fan of the tall N/S styles, so I like the look of the Zip Barlow better than this black leather Barlow.

I wish they would have more unique names because this is going to get confusing!!

Yes it is, Sarah. They didn't have any of the Barlow's at Las Vegas last week. I don't remember seeing them in the catalogue, either or the City Collection. Of course there was a lot in it. She said she was waiting on two suede bags, a tote and satchel and they're on the website now. Just saw they have put some carryalls on the site now, in the Crest fabric and the Cabbage Rose they had a couple of years ago. I think there will be a lot of new stuff to show up by the time the Q Dooney TSV arrives. They seem to dump new bags on their site when they do a TSV. :smile1:

This bag is gorgeous, love pretty much everything except the price, as many have commented on. If I was a girl that only bought one bag a season, then the price would be fine.......but I am not :D
