I love the hardware on the original Drag bag. It is a quintessential, elegant H closure which is missing on this new iteration. Personally, I feel like the lock is bulky and unattractive. It kind of has a Chloé vibe. Although I love a shoulder strap, I don’t think this bag is improved by one. I really think it is hard to beat the beauty of a vintage box Drag bag.

I love the old drag hardware as well, my dream drag is an old drag with removable strap. I can match different colourful Hermes straps.

I love the look and the size of the bag but loathe the lock - am I the only one?

Same here. The shape is very nice, but the lock makes me think Paddington.
Interesting that the Amica feature chose to make do without it. In this Elle FR feature they decided to put it on the side.

The hardware of old drag is spectacular and is not replaceable. I didn’t own a old drag but I have a drag bracelet, love, love, love it. I hope Hermes can have some new design with this hardware.

Totally agree with previous posts, it’s like a mixture of mulberry and Chole vibe.

I agree that it has a Mulberry vibe.
I like it a lot, but would have preferred a detachable strap.
Overall I still prefer the old drag though

I don’t like how it looks when worn crossbody. The handle is bent, the bag doesn’t seem to stay well attached to the body of the carrier...not a good look

just found the shoulder strap is depatchable.

The strap is detachable and there are holes in the hardware where the strap slides on that accommodate all the nice accessory straps Hermes makes too. Some are longer and make crossbody easier.
