My MIL has carried her white SL for years, it still looks new. Not sure I'd wear with black or navy on the regular but once in a while is fine. It's not magical, color transfer can happen to any light color, any brand, with repeated wear with darks... like our car upholstery.

Between those two I prefer the black tan, but this is probably because I live in Texas where it’s pretty much warm all year round. I find the black/tan more versatile with my wardrobe, but the black/black is very chic. You really can’t go wrong…I’d pick the one that speaks to you when you see them IRL. The grey spoke to me! The boheme has become one of my favorite bags to use!
between your two choices I would say the black/black. I have a black/black St. Louis GM and love it.
