I also received mine today with the long chain. (Aquarius) I’ve been looking for zodiac pendants for a while and had first ordered the Roberto Coin pendant which has diamonds. Took me 2 seconds to return it. The pendant felt light and flimsy. The chain was also very light and the gold looked plasticky for some reason. The pricing for the VCA pendant is very reasonable (comparable to RC and David Yurman which is a smaller pendant). I haven’t decided to keep it as I felt the chain landed on an add spot in me. But both chain and pendant are beautifully made. The pendant has a lot of heft. I’ve decided that I prefer an all gold no diamond pendant as it gives off a more luxurious look IMO with the smooth gold work.
If the length is awkward, VCA will add as much as you need. Decide on the length, call concierge, and they'll send a shipping label.

I agree. This line in particular seems very insignificant and the pricing feels opportunistic and greedy. There's maybe $1,000 in materials in the large pendants . . .
All I can say is that the price to value ratio has substantially plummeted, and I've noticed significant quality control issues. I never thought I'd say this, but VCA is losing me as a customer.

I totally agree that the price on the large pendants is ridiculous. When I think of Magic pendants around $6k, that still seems like a lot for what it is. But $21k??? Crazy!

Could you tell us what kind of quality issues you have seen? It helps to be aware of known issues.

I think we better start a new thread about quality issues. It will be helpful.

Here are most of the vintage Zodiac re-release. The design is quite common since it is in greco-roman style. I like them, they feel solid. But one does see a lot of similar designs in other jewellery houses. My overseas SA sent me these since they didn't have all of them here.

Where's Aquarius? Everyone always forgets about us. :confused1::smile:

The zodiac collection including the larger stone medallions and watches are on the VCA website now if anyone wants to preview what they look like on the models. Here’s some photos from their IG today and one off the website that I like not for my own sign but for the design and looks. I still can’t wrap my head around the pricing of the larger ones. There is more gold and heft but it doesn’t look 3 times the size of a Magic.

Aside from the price issue, I think these are hard to wear. The Magic Alhambra goes with everything. Put it on and it's good to go. These would not pair with with just anything, and would need some thought before wearing.
While it looks nice when paired with a white t-shirt, and it emulates that '70's look, there are other things I'd reach for first. Frankly, I'd find it a struggle . . .
If someone has some other thoughts, I'd love to hear . . .
