I love my 70 trace chain. It is beautiful. The zodiac charm looks wonderful on the long chain. I would just love the option of a shorter chain for occasional use. I have heard that the shorter chain is finer though.

Can anyone suggest another brand of chain that might look good with the all gold pendant. I have looked at Tiffany and DY and Bulvgari but have not seen anything I like. TIA

Prices have gone up again for the UK :shocked:

The issue may be mismatching golds, but at least with yg, there is more change to get it close.

Cartier does quite a few chains.

You can also wear the Zodiaque on a silk or velvet ribbon.

That’s a good idea. Thanks so much for the suggestion. Getting a chain from another designer could be a problem in matching. I have a Tiffany 18K that is a much darker gold.

Wow, the pendant is really sublime. I'm a sagittarius, but I think I'll order the lion sign because it's so beautiful.

I bought one of the reissue of the Georges L'Enfant designed ones (the small gold ones). They aren't as nice as the original ones. On those, the surface seemed more complex and varied, as an ancient coin-inspired design should be (even on the small sized ones). I presume something is lost when using CAD to make the new ones...versus the technology they used in 1950s. Its still high quality though, just not as nice as the originals.

researching the hallmark on the pendants, I was able to find out that the pendants are made by Pichard-Balme, for VCA. (the originals were made by Georges L'Enfant for VCA).
