Dragonette ~ I hope you get your cute little spider. I would buy a spider charm. I have no problem with spiders, but hubby seriously dislikes them. I always have to rescue them before he squishes them or my cats eat them.

Has anyone ordered from Cotton Island?

Well, I'm home and I sent the seller a message on eBay. I think I'll give them a day to revise the sled auction before I report it to eBay. I really don't mind people using my descriptions, so long as they ask first (she didn't), and credit the source properly. Hopefully whoever looks at the auction will check out CC and know how to better spot fakes while they're searching for stuff. I just don't understand where common courtesy has gone in the world.

lovejt - welcome :) I don't let my charms anywhere near water, either.. I'd imagine that would lead to them tarnishing and breaking down faster. If could also eat away at any adhesive used on the crystals.

ChanelGirlE - I know this answer is late, but all pre-orders are usually listed as "backorder" on the major sites (NM, Juicy's site, Bloomie's, etc) even though they haven't been released yet. If you place a pre-order you shouldn't have any problem getting your shipment. :)

Raquelle that really sucks that your "friend" has done that to you. :( It's going to suck even more if you have to start selling off items to cover her irresponsible actions. I hope everything comes through for you.

TCC congrats on the octopus! I love that one so much.. I think his "alien" head makes me love him even more. ;)

LV sorry you had a wet jeans breakfast! It might not have been so bad if it was water.. but apple juice.. yikes! I'm surprised you weren't stuck to the seat by the time you were done. ;)

dusty - CC has an average of 40 readers per day, although it spiked up to 170+ during the panda contest. I have a feeling she stumbled across it via a search or something (only because I honestly doubt that a true collector would just lift someone else's information like that, or be unable to come up with their own description) and just took what she wanted for her own use. I wouldn't mind so much if she had just asked first. THANK YOU for pointing it out though, or I would NEVER have known!

I have to agree with Tup on jeremiahandlibby's auctions. I don't recommend buying from them, ONLY because they get their stock by bidding on questionable auctions on eBay. I am also super concerned about the heart & arrow charm - there is more than one version out there, but I thought it had some sort of black design on the reverse side? You can tell from their photos that they only show ONE side of the charm and not the other, which leads me to believe something might be flawed on it. And the geeky lipstick may have been one of the smaller charms that came attached to the Juicy perfume bottles when they first started.

I am with GLL re: the mushroom. I won't be getting it. I would get one that was cartoon-ish but the one in the photos looks too drug mushroom-ish, and I don't like anything relating to drugs.

Hello Flawsie well we are all on the edge of our seats wanting to know what else in addition to the spider is coming out....I would like a haunted house with a yorkie inside.

Cedes: I would not contact the seller, just report the listings to eBay. It seems like it's a new seller and they often start off by copying sellers they think are good, so while flattering it is still plagarism and the eBay rules clearly state that everyone has to take their own photos and write their own ads. The seller may be apologetic but may also be rude, so I would let eBay handle it.

One more thing, I wanted you all to know I am very pleased with Red-Square.com, they made an exception and shipped to my PO box, which eModa and UrbanMinx refused to do, AND I got my silver starter charm bracelet for 25% off from them. And now of course I'm starting to want silver charms, and decided I want the lucky 7, now that Shirley & Co has run out and I don't have any discount code for any place that has the 7. I love the soccer balls, both the gold clasp pink and silver clasp blue, but wouldn't wear them on a bracelet.

SheSaid - thanks. If she's rude I'll report her right away.. my message was polite but stern so I may get a mixed reaction on that. I think the Lucky 7 might still be in stock at Revolve and I believe there are 10% and 15% codes floating around in the thread.

^Definitely. Like I also mentioned, someone copied one of my descriptions word for word and it made me mad because I worked for a long time on trying to desrcibe my charm accurately!
Anyway, ebay took it down within minutes after I reported it. :yes:
I could have seen if she would have contacted you first to ask if it was ok but her credit was sporadic, listing it on one but then not on the other.

And lol yeah my pants were SO sticky it was so gross. Water would have been better lol. It's a good thing my pants were dark denim...I was sitting on a semi thick paper towel (like one from the towel dispensers in the restrooms) until we were done and geez by the time we left, that towel was soaked. I had to go and order the LARGE glass lol.

I ordered from them last week. I ordered a silver crown from them and it was suppose to be 26+ $7.58 shipping. They shipped it promptly via ups, and I got it a few days ago. I opened it and I got a gold crown instead. There was a small scratch on the bottom of the crown, and the charm and box reeked of incense. But on the plus side.. they didn't charge my card shipping.. and sold it to me for $25 shipped. Maybe to make up for not sending me the right color? I don't know. :p Weird thing is that the silver crown is still on the website for sale...... :shrugs::confused1:

Hey you all... I finally touched my camera. It wasn't even the thing that I thought it was... Patience is truly a virtue...

First up, let me show you my bling desk accessories right quick. I know this is the charm thead but they bling like charms! You should see the leopard bling stapler, tape dispenser, custom made hole puncher, clock & gold bling ruler. In the back there's a piggy cigarette lighter. I don't smoke but when I saw the flames come out of the piggies nostrils I had to have it!

Well, LV I hope she at least gave you another juice for free.. or your whole breakfast for that matter.

I'm not sure if anyone else got the e-mail but you can get 20% off at Juicy boutiques if you're buying grad gifts (you have to have proof of a graduation.. I assume an invitation is good enough?). I haven't tried it myself but if they get those cherries in I'm grabbing one of the 12903128937 invites we have hanging around and going for it.
