LV, can you believe he's jacked that Compact up three times? I'd love to email him and say, "See, you should have sold it to me for your original asking price!" I'm not going to bother him though. He may one day get a "must have item" and I don't want to burn my bridge. Oooooohhhhhh, but it's so hard not to light a teeny, tiny torch! :graucho:

:flowers:PrincessPatti, that's a leopard item I've never seen before! It's cute. The price is decent too. Wow. Thanks for thinking of me.

GLL- heres another one for ya!

I dont know if youve ever heard of Konad, but this is so you! gold AND leopard!

Elisabeth and Dollsbabypink: eBay has apparently communicated to Paypal that the seller Love Sasha is a scam artist. Go into your paypal account and do the 'escalate claim' option on your chargeback for the seller, and write a note demanding immediate full refund including shipping, I have been told Paypal already issued one full refund today without requiring buyer return anything.

SheSaid811 - Thanks so much for your advice... I have now gone to the escalate claim option on Paypal... Elisabeth I advise you do the same and hopefully between the two of us we can hopefully get our money back and stop this pathefic seller....

Fingers cross!

dragonette, you've absolutely GOT to watch Firefly! I don't know if you know who Nathan Fillion is or if you like him but he has this subtle sarcastic humor that is so much fun to watch. Regarding your box, it should never open straight up all the way like your picture shows, unless something on the inside is broken. The boxes always open and stop at a slight angle. Also, every single JC charm box is the same height so there should not be as much of a discrepancy there as it appears in your pictures. That doesn't mean your charm is fake, just that the box may not be completely legit. Some people do buy charms off eBay sans box and then acquire boxes all on their own somehow. Hope that helps :flowers:

Elisabeth - I hope you get your money back and everything worked out.

TCC, congrats on the whale! That's a lucky find :)

Dollsbaby - welcome! I know the thread is huge but if you do a search you'll find several stores that will ship internationally (SBB, Revolve) that stock charms. You can also search for a seller's name to see if they have been discussed before. We don't keep a running list of good sellers, though. I think the eBay market is just too volatile to totally trust anyone 100%. Also, the eBay forum on TPF has lots of useful information on how to file a dispute and how to report fakes and fraud.

Ohh babe this thread is huge and I can't keep up with it but thank-you for your welcomes! My boyfriend would totally roll his eyes knowing that I'm a juicy couture thread, he already think im pathetic enough buying charms that I don't wear!!

What's SBB? I know of Revolve - they do so well out of me.

TCC Congrates on the whale charm! I just picked mine up from a long overdue layby it has to be one of the best juicy charms...

Dollsbabypink-:welcome2: I have found that the Juicy Couture pic blog here at Purse Forum and Charm Candy are both great source of information. Good Luck!!

Okay, now for my general question: Is it my imagination or do the fake charms have a wonky clasp. By which I mean, isn’t the logo on the fake charm always too close to the lip of the clasp? And a little “smudged”, it’s not a clean image. This has been bothering me for a while. One seller on eBay has a snowman charm and a candy cane charm. I purchased the snowman from a reputable retailer (Nords or Bloomies, can’t remember right now) when it went on sale and to be honest the clasp on the candy cane looks like I describer earlier, too close to the lip and smeared. If I’m being paranoid please let me know, a lot of people here have purchased from this seller with no problems but…..
And is it also fair to comment, not that I’m accusing this seller of this practice, but some sellers MAY sell both, fake & authentic?:ty:

Thanks babe - going to have a good check out now
:heart::heart:

wow! LV and kayyle..thank you!!! i had no idea that's the seller kayyle is dealing with! i do hope you get your money back.
maybe the amount of sellers of fake charms on the bay has to do with the demand for older charms and there are also so many countries were JC hasn't got any sotres that the only way to get a charm is through the internet...
congrats on the sweet shoppe bracelet set PP! and you did find some amazing leopard stuff for GLL!

shesaid, i have reported that relisted fake ice cream!

cedes, thanks for the info! that's what i suspected as well... the charm looks good, albeit a little tarnished and worn (but she did disclose it was a pre-owned charm) so maybe she didn't have the box anymore or she got it from someone who doesn't have the box. she has yet to reply my message about the box though. i hope she can shed some light on it. oh and firefly sounds good! i will check it out.

sweetwon, thanks for the pic! yes the dots look similar but at least yours is at the right angle. i LOVE the pink box for the silver charms! it's too bad i don't like the silver charms!

GLL, wow! the eyeshadow compact is BIN 99? seller must be good at wishful thinking!

jcjen, charcoal or tea leaves also absorb smells! you can try putting them in a ziplock bag for a day or two.

dollsbabypink, we're not allowed to trade on the forum so i'm not sure if anyone can answer this question directly, but if you're sharp you can usually spot auctions listed by tPFers. some sellers also list their tPF nickname on their auctions.

Wow PrincessPatti! That was a serious leopard find! Being a past licensed nail tech, "nails" will always have a special place in my heart. Add leopard print to the nail and I'm over the moon! Thank you for sharing that pic with me. Please feel free to pm me whenever "must see" or "must have" leopard surfaces. I enjoy seeing all things leopard. You have started my monring off with a bang! :yahoo:

Yeah, LV & dragonette... In my opinion being a seller of authentic JC charms is a very, very good thing. Having decent pricing and customer service ranks high also. If one is asking for premium prices I feel that he/she should be offering up some EXCELLENT customer service!
