Can anyone tell me also, how your report that your items are fake on ebay? How to dispute? I just brough from Love Sasha (now understanding that all the charms are fake) and the seller its not answering my emails....

Wow, I can't believe how fast this thread moves, lol I took some notes this time so hopefully I didn't forget anyone.

Watk~ Hubby is on me about a new baby safe car too. We are looking at SUV's right now because we have a great little car right but in the Michigan winters and little tot being a winter baby I would feel safer with 4 wheel drive (plus the extra room is nice).

TCC~ LOVE the pics!! That is so sweet about your elephant charm too! I love that some of the charms have a special meaning for us and as cute as they are we can still find ones to represent lovely memories. That whale is such a cutie and the horseshoe is really pretty in the silver finish

PP~ Oh girl, we love the Wii. Hubby has a PS3 for his "man games:p" but I bought us the Wii for Christmas along with the Fit board and we have so much fun playing on it. I have a few of the work-out games for it to so after little tot is here I can hopefully get a bit of exercise on it (sounded funner than my treadmill). I only live a few hours east of Chicago right by lake Mi and Tup lives pretty close to me so one day we should all meet up for baby and Juicy shopping.

Dragonette~ I love the little gingerbread house! Congrats on scoring that cutie, don't you just love the details? That is one charm I'm kicking myself for parting with.

PinkStarlett~ Great pics and welcome!! For somereason JC charms look so nice on Bal bags. I think the colors just let the charms shine.

JuicyLover~ Congrats on the spinner charm! That is a perfect charm for your trip and if you win the 40 million dollar jackpot does that mean charms for us all:graucho: I hope you have a great time on your trip.

LuvmySheps~ That little piggie is adorable! I never find anything cute like that at our Coach outlet. I bet he looks adorable on your bag/keys.

Sweetwon~ Don't even get me started, lol. I just started watching True Blood after finally giving in to the hype and I am hooked. I spent hours the other day watching all the back episodes and I am completely hooked.

GLL~ Whaaa? Swarovski leapord piggie you say!?!! Oh I can't wait to see that little cutie. How perfect, he can be your mascot! Congrats on your flamingo too. That is one charm I have to keep stopping myself from buying but I have a feeling I'll break down eventually.

SheSaid~ OMG your chair story cracked me up. I was dying! I can just see the look on the security guys face "OK ma'm please put your hands behind your back for a security check and no little chairs will get hurt" Maybe they were scared you were going to assemble a full dining set, lol.:laugh:

LV~ A charm store!?! It's a good thing Vegas is far, far away from me. Between the Bal boutique and a charm store I would be in heaven, the AmEx not so much:p I hope you have a great time and that your parents have a wonderful anniversary.

Dolllover~ I am soooo glad it went to you! When I logged on this morning and saw it was someone I didn't know had bought it I was afraid it went to a reseller. I am so happy it's going to find a home with you.

Tup~ I can't believe that seller relisted your gumdrop already! Kinda shady, at least we all know which one it is. Hopefully your other new charm will make up for it;)

Elisabeth~ I am so sorry to hear of your struggles with that seller:pout:. It sounds like a nightmare and I hope it all gets cleared up quickly. I'm not sure how it works on charms but I know that with bags if they are not authenic it's illegal to send them through the post (though pp will still make you return them anyway). I bought a fake very early on in my bag collecting and was told by my bank when I filed a charge back that I did not have to return it as it was illegal to ship counterfit merchandise through the postal system. I had a lovely bonfire with the bag and still got my $ back. PP was no help to me in my situation though which was why I had to go through my bank. Perhaps you can get a letter from usps stating it's illegal to ship fakes and fax it to pp?

Tup, LV, Sweetwon, PP, LV, Dragonette and to anyone I may have missed thank you for the super sweet comments. All of my charms ship for free for you guys so just let me know before you complete checkout and I'll take the shipping off for you;)

OK, I am absolutely in love with the new striped boxes! Seriously they are the cutest. My little Buddah came and the box is as cute as the charm. I will be keeping these little boxes for sure.

Hi, I'm not a JC charm collector, but I'm from the Pandora thread and we've had the same issue with counterfeit items. If you paid by PayPal open up a dispute there and you will get your money back even if the seller doesn't respond. Also, if the seller tells you to send them back the charms, remember it is illegal to send counterfeit items through the mail. I opened a dispute in Paypal, and the seller got scared and just gave my money right back without asking for the charms.
Most of the girls from the Pandora thread who had bought from this seller notified eBay and Pandora of the counterfeit dealer, not sure what the outcome was.
Hope it helps anyway.

dolllover - YAY! I'm so glad that you got it! So, so happy! I'm always afraid when I post stuff that some evil reseller will get to it before you guys. I bet you're so excited! I know I was when I won my snowglobe. And you get the cool blue box, mine came in the pink... therefore I am jealous, you know I love the blue boxes!!

LV - Yeah, about that reoccurring gumdrop... it's like a bad dream. Sigh. Whoever buys is, if it bids high, is going to be really disappointed. Well, that is, if it's the same one. In general, I wouldn't pay $20 for it, but that's just me. Either way, if it's the same one, how lone is the listing? I haven't even mailed it back yet, so, ok I'm not even going to go there. Wow, just wow.

Tater - I found it beyond weird and also really shady. Like I said to LV, wow. One day I'll find a gumdrop, hopefully. I'm not too worried! I'm glad that dolllover snagged a perfect one for a decent price, it holds lots of sentimental value to her, where to me, I was probably just hungry that day and the gumdrop looked tasty! And I know for a fact that my new charm will make up for that crappy gumdrop 1,000 times over! :D Oh, yeah! We should get around to getting together sometime! We live pretty close. I forgot about that! Baby shopping and Juicy shopping are two of my favorite things!

TCC - That's so cute that the elephant has hearts on the bottom of his feet! My Grandma loved elephants. I should really pick that charm up one of these days!

dragonette, Thanks for the link! And after my last post (at 3.41am SG time) I couldn't take it, I KO'ed :p Your ice cream cup is so cute!

pukasonqo, Thanks! It's one of my fav!

SheSaid811, LOL! JC charms are not deadly weapons, seriously!

kayyle, Thanks! I love your whale charm, too cute!

cedes, Oh yes, the Bal forum is harmful to my pocket's but I can't stay out to matter how hard I try lol.

twochubbycheeks, I like your new charms! The whale is so cute, I think I might have to search for one now and the silver horseshoe, I love the turquoise stones behind!

tatertot, Thanks! And yes, I think bbags look really good with JC charms on it:D

Stephanieeee Thanks so much for taking the time to tell me... I have a few charms that I know are fake, and thank-god I paid for them through Paypal, let's hope I get some resoultion from them! Its really really annoying all these fake items out there, the more and more I am put off ebay. My problem is too that I am from Australia and it near impossible to buy Juicy Couture from Shops here - A lot of online sellers don't post outside the US...

Dragonette regarding you box - the boxes change slightly from now and again, I was just checking out item I bought from retail sectors and they are authentic but are slightly different depending the year of the charm was made... My friend has also confirm this...

^ oh! so we don't have to send fake charms back? darn, we wasted good money!

I think if you open a dispute up through Paypal and claim that the item is fake or counterfeit you have to send the item to either Paypal or in some cases Paypal will want you to send the item to the original company who's copyright was violated. When you send them to Paypal, they supposedly destroyed the items so they don't keep circulating. I'm not 100% though. Any of the international ladies that got stung by fradulent sellers, you guys can always post in the eBay forum to get better or clearer answers in regards to what to do. I would open up a claim for sure if I knew 100% I received a fake item. Paypal does tend to side with the buyers 99.9% of the time. They can even help you through mailing items back and whatnot. I hope that helps you guys. I can't imagine how frustrating all that must be!

That's just what I found out about bags but I would think the same law applies to counterfeit charms also. PP does not care that it's against the law, they make you return the item anyway but they sided with the fake seller in my claim so I had to do a chargeback with my bank and that's where I found out the other info. It might be worth getting the policy in writing from usps and showing pp that they are asking you to break the law (though you would have to prove somehow it's a fake, ie: letter from Juicy or an authorized authenticator)

Dragonette~ Dollsbby is right about the boxes. I have bought charms from Saks/Nordies and the boxes have varied slightly over the years.

Doll~ The ladies here are happy to help authenticate before you purchase;) I know they have saved me a few times from buying a dud.

sis has already put them in the mail (back to the seller) first thing monday morning and opened a dispute with PP to send them and the seller the tracking info. i hope nothing goes wrong! :thinkin:

^^ Paypal is so weird. I can't imagine why they would want you to send fake things back to people so they can resell them. Plus it seems their polices change so frequently, who can keep up. It's like one day do this, but tomorrow you'll have to do that. I hope that everything works out postively for you dragonette and any of the other ladies that are dealing with the counterfeits, that's just sad and crappy!
