Wow, I wish I could get that snowglobe. I am always afraid to buy charms from ebay or bonanzle and now I find ones I want from someone I trust and I can't get them. I guess I shouldn't have been spending my little stash on charms so quickly. I hope someone on here gets the snowglobe.

I have figured out who is peddling the fake whales. It is the seller LOVE SASHA. Please report all her current and future charms as fakes. If we all bombard eBay with VeRO reports hopefully we can eliminate her.

question re the boxes, what does the colors mean? Like the brown boxes-- are they just regular boxes vs the pink/silver combo boxes? I think the gold boxes are just for LE charms, right?

Loving your new charms TCC! Congrats on both. One of my favorite things on the elephant is how the feet have hearts underneath!

There are a few others that are selling fake whales too! At least that I know of. bonnietonnie's pictures of her whale in gold box is, as far as I can tell, of the real thing. It even shows the gold box, which it doesn't come with! I msged a/b the boxes (pretty decieving to picture it with it and have it come with a totally diff box!) and they said not all of them come in gold boxes, and that they will be recieving the gold boxes next week.
I've also seen a listing for empty gold LE boxes:s

BTW I loved your story about the airport & chairs. :D That was hilarious!

Aw congrats! I've been eyeing it for a few days but I guess I'm too slow :p I'm glad another tpf'er snagged this awesome deal!! :nuts:

As for the boxes...it's odd but this is the general idea:
Gold charms: Black box/blue terry lining, brown box/pink terry lining
Silver colored charms: Hot pink box/pink lining
Sterling Silver charms: Silver box/pink terry lining

vlady- No problem! I just remember GLL mentioning they weren't very nice. At least I'm pretty sure she was talking about madbargains.

omg! if you had not mention about the turquoise stones on the back, I wouldn't have checked! LOL I was in a hurry to take pics coz my kiddos have woken up already. it's sooo pretty! :love: my Mom loves torquoise.. now, I might get the gold one then. :nuts:

thanks for the info re the diff colored boxes. I just get so curious about the significance of the colors of the boxes! LOL now, I want a charm with the blue lining. hee hee

Anyone that's been looking for that charm I think that's definintely the cheapest I've seen it offered in a LONG time. The seller also has the film projector reel and several other charms up.

Other than that there are a few other charms on Bonanzle like the LE CZ Heart Charm for $49.99, which is pretty decent, considering one sold not too long ago for over $100!
