For what it’s worth ($50, give or take), the blue is $50 more. I like the blue, but it all depends on what color you’d get the most use out of and you’re style. I don’t have any beige bags for a reason, but it is a lovely neutral. So do yo prefer colors that pop, or neutrals?I am going to Balenciaga tomorrow to get my very first Bal bag. I will get the Le City In Medium but I am thorn between Beige and Blue. What would you pick?
TIA!!
Thanks so much Deco, you brought a good point about blue being a pop of color..which is not my style. For what it’s worth ($50, give or take), the blue is $50 more. You may also want to grope the two and see which one has better leather (they vary quite a bit, even within the same season’s color). Also note the hardwares are different, shiny silver vs aged brass.
I really like the beige in the brass hardware and I’m contemplating on getting myself one . Unfortunately the Balenciaga store here in Houston doesn’t have that color so I’m unable to feel the leather. Please let me know what you think of the leather when you go tomorrow and check the City bags yourselfI am going to Balenciaga tomorrow to get my very first Bal bag. The city has never been a crossbody bag. What you've posted shows the longest the strap has ever been, except for some special cities that had the longer strap and even those weren't long enough to wear cross body.My wallet is safe!! The leather is thin and strap cannot cross body. Here it is shoulder carry compared to evelyne crossbody on shortest setting.
Oh danggg…thanks for the heads up on the leather quality. This makes me sad cuz I really wanted to get a City.My wallet is safe!! The leather is thin and strap cannot cross body. Here it is shoulder carry compared to evelyne crossbody on shortest setting.

Wow, that is super slouchy! Love it! Strap looks longer than the original's. Is there a weight distributor on the strap?I love it. It’s nice and slouchy just how I like it. I went the medium in dark beige with brass hardware.
No weight distributor and strap wasn’t adjustable (though SA said some come with adjustable strap). To be honest I thought the leather felt a bit thin at first but I’ve realised it’s a design thing so that it becomes super slouchy very quickly (which I love). I’ve had her 2 weeks and by the second week I fell in love as she lost her stiffness and became very soft and slouchy. 🥰Wow, that is super slouchy! Love it! Strap looks longer than the original's. The blue and the dark beige are calling my name. Not sure if I want to pay the full price. Hopefully they will hit the resale market soon.I am going to Balenciaga tomorrow to get my very first Bal bag. I will get the Le City In Medium but I am thorn between Beige and Blue. What would you pick?

Hi! I am eying the metallic grey one but darker than yours. I don’t have a store selling Balenciaga nearby and was wondering how the leather is : as it is metallic, isn’t it too stiff and if so do you think it will soften with time? Thank you!View attachment 5989732View attachment 5989733
New Le City size comparison for new City people (5'.5"). Med and Small. Weirdly, now I'm looking in the photo the Small doesn't look so odd.
Small looked a bit 'dinky' on me IRL. I'm not usually into med bags but this looks good. Very light for this size bag too.
A little bit stiffer than originals, and yes I bought the hated silver (in the Med) good with the rain though and I live in the UK so that's a total bonus.
