New Le City size comparison for new City people (5'.5"). Med and Small. Weirdly, now I'm looking in the photo the Small doesn't look so odd.

Small looked a bit 'dinky' on me IRL. I'm not usually into med bags but this looks good. Very light for this size bag too.

A little bit stiffer than originals, and yes I bought the hated silver (in the Med) good with the rain though and I live in the UK so that's a total bonus.
I think this suits you well! Good point about the rain, I do think I would be more carefree with this style vs the OG versions based on the coating.

I have zero hate and much love for your bag. I only hate the price, but I didn't have to pay it so I have no room to complain.

Congrats!

It looks great on you, congrats :D

Agreed. The price is ridiculous!

But the price of almost all new bags across the luxury brands are all ridiculous. LCs were up against a Small Gucci Patent Jackie that £1K more than the Small LC.

Not sure it this is the right thread, but will post anyway. (If needed, Mods, please move it to the right place)
Along with the classic City Bal has issued a cross breed between Cagole and Work, they call it the Cagole Tote.
Super generous handles drop, easily goes on the shoulder, and it also has a strap.
My DH was pushing me for the pink one, but I had more cons rather than pros, so I left bare handed.IMG_20240424_2028427.jpgIMG_20240424_2029309.jpgIMG_20240424_2029231.jpgIMG_20240424_2032479.jpgIMG_20240424_2036022.jpgIMG_20240424_2029131.jpgIMG_20240424_2037086.jpg

What didn’t you like?

What didn’t you like?
sides were floppy (probably because the bag was empty) and i understood it's too East-west for my liking
there are no feet, for this size of the bag it will be heavy to carry it in the hand all the time, and if you put it down it will either scuff, or pick up dirt too quickly (most likely both!)
and it's too big for such a VIVID INTO YOUR FACE colour
though, my DH said the pink one was looking good on me, i still feel it's a little bit too big
but handles are amazing, they will even go on the thick coat!
also, i felt like it was a little bit overloaded with the giant and semi-giant studs

what color is the hardware? It looks almost... copper?

I like this tote more than the Le City (I think the extra loud features work on it, tbh). I didn't even realize they made a larger, supersized version. I've only seen the small totes. Something about this particular combo of size and features I love!

Here's the small version for comparison:

Fair analysis. It looks good though!
