Neverfull MM - mono or DE?

I like the DE better,because its not that visible for wear and tear but the down sides is cracking on the leathers....just make sure you take good care of the leather. I'm not a big fan of the mono, but I have it Azur as well as DE. The interior of azur get dirty easily and also the leather...so it would be the same for mono....

Oh yeah don't forget to purchase a bag organizer because I have a difficult time finding my things and the interior can get very dirty....my first azur NF i learned the hard way... My interior was covered with pencil marks and makeup stains...

I purchased the bag organizer from etsy, for $75 but its worth every pennies... it keeps the bag from sagging and they uses good materials!!

Great idea. I'd heard the new neverfulls had a reinforced bottom. Does anyone know if that's the case?

Mono! I just got mine with the cerise lining and I'm in love!

I was debating the same thing, I loved DE because of the pattern, red lining, more carefree than vachetta. But then I read all of the strap problems with DE, the cracking, replacing and how they're stiffer and more uncomfortable. Seemed like it's own hassle, even without the vachetta.

So I went mono, but loved that I could get the red lining. I used Apple leather conditioner on the vachetta and then sprayed with the Apple Rain Garde. Still looks perfect and I feel a lot better about the vachetta because of it.

I have the Apple conditioner and the rain garde. I've wondered if you could use the rain garde on new vachetta to keep it looking new longer and to protect against water spots. Everyone says not to use anything but I think new, untreated vachetta would be too stressful for me. That's what made me consider the DE. And when I heard the straps on the new DE bags were softer, that was a plus.

I love the red lining so would be happy with either bag from that standpoint. Uugghhh tough decision! But not a bad one to have to make!

So for anyone who has the new DE, are the straps improved from when they were stiff and uncomfortable? The strap issue seems to be the big downside for the DE.
