NEVER EVER again shopping at Sephora !! SO ANGRY!

I'm very surprised to hear this too. I've had nothing but excellent customer service at Sephora and I've been shopping there for many years now. I frequently order online because of their promos and GWP and my orders have always arrived in a very timely fashion and in great packaging. I also return a lot too, but I generally keep most of my purchases. Granted, my purchases are usually only $100-$200 a year so it's not a lot.

OP, sorry to hear that you went through this. But like the other posters have mentioned, maybe your activity got flagged?

I had one issue at the BNM store once with a return, the girl had an attitude and made some stupid remark like "usually it doesn't take people more than 2 wks to figure out they don't like a product" and I gave her the "bish you better backtrack" look and she returned it - never went back to that store.

Sometimes you find CSR's who are having a crappy day and they take it out on you. I had a guy at CVS yesterday humiliate me horribly over a return. I used my extra buck rewards along with my debit card so he tells me "I'm taking your $10 extra bucks". I told him I had never heard of such a thing and such policy would encourage me to go to Walgreens instead and he said "go ahead I don't care, you're a crook cheating the system". I wanted to slap him soooo bad, it was so embarrassing! I was scolding him and the man behind me told him he was way out of line and demanded an apology and he refused and denied saying what he said.

My point is that sometimes the scenario may look bad - I bet you the other customers thought I was a crook! And I returned the item sealed in its box with a receipt... So maybe Steve was having a crappy day - saw that OP had a couple of high $ returns and made a stupid assumption like the idiot at CVS did to me!

Never had problems with Sephora. I've had a few missing packages over the years (I HATE UPS!) and they have always replaced them with no issues. If I kept ordering from any place and kept receiving damaged goods I would just stop doing business with the company. There are so many choices out there that no one has to settle for bad service.

Something is missing.
I love Sephora and have bought both in store or online and Have had wonderful experiences so far.
I took advantage of their excellent return policy when I broke out after buying face cream, primer and foundation. Since we couldn't narrow it down the SA took it all back!
I just got a VIB coupon so I'll be there tomorrow!

They r sending out more vib coupon ? % off ?

I did not mean to offend the OP or anyone and if it came off that way, I am sorry. I guess I just find it so foreign because in my world, 3k is always spent is such un-fun ways like a hot water tank or a furnace or some other boring necessity of life. At least washers and dryers are soooo colorful now though! Sorry really.

LOL! Yup, this is me as well! And I have a pair of candy apple red washer/dryer! :p

It sounds to me like there is more to this story. If a site is banning you from online shopping, then there must have been other issues or something that has identified you as problematic. Also, when a package is damaged in shipping, it is the shippers fault, not the sender - so Sephora is not to blame.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience, OP, but I've had nothing but exceptional customer service experience with them and will continue to shop there.

Hmmm, and how odd that OP has not responded at all. Oh well, I'll continue purchasing from Sephora.

How come we havent heard back from OP?

Maybe because there are a ton of people here suggesting something shady is going on or that she is withholding information.

If I were her I would leave the thread too! She came here looking for support and instead she got a lot a not so subtle raised eyebrows.
