I have a Vernis Alma MM and a Neo Cabby GM, and I love them both, but for different reasons. It's really going to depend upon how the bag will be used. IMHO, the Vernis will last longer over time, but the denim Neo Cabby is a great casual piece. [I also own the denim Baggy GM in blue, and I use that one a lot as a casual messenger bag; I have the optional long strap...]

I find vernis alma pm to be more versatile but if you want a casual bag, then neo cabby mm may serve your purpose better.

I have an Alma Vernis and a neo cabby and while I know that people say the LV Denim does not last forever,it is still my favorite-so easy to use & hip looking!

This is a tough one, but I'm going to go with the alma b/c it's a dressy bag that can be worn casual. Even though I prefer the design of the cabby, I can only see it being used as a casual bag.
