Neiman Marcus did not double my gift card... They are in big, big trouble. I just wrote an email to them and if the reply isn't an apology alongside another $300 gift card, I am DONE. I took screencaps of the qualifying items when I purchased them, just like the gift card event vets advised. Pathetic that we can't trust a company to do what's right the first time.

May I ask when and how you received your gift card (email vs mail)? I am still waiting for mine and have emailed several times trying to ascertain when (if!?) it is coming. I did receive one reply back saying that I would get my gift card via email on 5/12/14 but that didn't happen, and they have been totally unresponsive to my emails since.

Not really happy with they customer service at all. Luckily I took screenshots, too, but we shouldn't have to fight for this.
 
They need to revise the way they handle gift cards. I am waiting as well and its a mess. Wanted to buy something with it, and don't have it. I vowed I wouldn't get stuck in their gift card program again, and I did. I'm tired of wading through my mails every day to look for it.

I'd like to see NM try and squirm out of it. Keep us updated adversary. Not only should they apologize to you but they should also throw in an extra like a discount or something along those lines (but don't hold your breath).
 
Do you know what is excluded like burberry Prada or Gucci. Tia

Usually Gucci is always excluded from the Gift Card events, but double check. ALWAYS click on "how to identify eligible products" link to make sure that you understand how NM is marking the items AND then when you get to the product page itself, make and print a copy of the item page showing the flag/mark that indicates that it is included in the GC promo, especially if it's a "double gift card" promo.

And keep these copies until you actually receive your gift card.

ITA.. they promise one thing & deliver another..

I can't tell you how many phone calls I had to make to InCircle
to correct this for myself..

Besides time consuming, you get an argument!!

I finally had to call the executive office & have it handled through them..

Glad you got it settled. It shouldn't be as hard as they make it.

Now you've reminded me that I have about $150 left on a card, and I better spend it before I forget about it and it expires (that 8 week time period annoys me as well). :graucho:

Besides the fact they always seem to be "behind" with issuing gift cards,
it seems like NM waits 30 days (plus) just to be certain the item is not going to
be returned after the gift card has been issued & redeemed.

But they state that if the item that was purchased & is returned & the
gift card is used, they deduct the gift card as well as the points from your account.

I'm guessing perhaps they have been taken "advantage of" & are protecting
their interests with this policy..

I also think that when a customer has a long term history with the store
& is asking for their gift card, NM should be gracious & just send it out
or give the gift card number so it can be redeemed. IYKWIM
