I'm pretty sure you can. The gift card is just like a normal gift card except you receive the number and code in an email. I think you can only use it for non-sale items so Chanel and Bal should be fine.

I used one that i had previously on a Gucci wallet. Though it didn't cover the whole price, it did pay some of it and I just paid the difference. :D

hi everyone
i am aware that neiman is running the gift card promotion until 3/6/13. if i use gift cards (not ones from a previous gift card promotion) and cash for my order, does the entire retail amount qualify for this offer or jsut the cash portion? i ordered some gift cards with my credit card points and if i can use that to make a purchase and get back some gift cards with this promotion that would be awesome. thanks!

For spending $1,000 - $2,000 -- the doubled GC is the most that's generally offered for GC events (i.e. 30%). Also, some GC events only go to $1,000, so a GC for $2,000 is nice.

Lower than $1,000 -- the doubled GC is not bad, but you can wait for a better event.

Without the doubling - the GC is only 10% & 15% - so I'd wait for a better event.

Thank you for letting me know. What I wanted to purchase was for 795, so you would suggest waiting as there may be a better gc promo in the future?

If it's only 1 item for $795 - I'd personally wait for another event.

But, if there's a risk of it selling out and you were going to buy it anyway (regardless of the event), then a $100 GC is better than nothing. kwim?
