If I order online, will I still get a GC? or only purchases made in store?
Anyone know if Balenciaga is included?

The fine print definitely reads "in store only". Online is in the list of exclusions. I haven't shopped the in-store event before, so I don't know which brands are excluded. Maybe another TPFer has intel and can post? GL.

Just got my gc, but I'm a little confused. It says it's good for a regular price "ONLINE" purchase. Then at the bottom (the small print) it says: ** Valid on merchandise from Neiman Marcus and may be used in stores, online, or in catalogs; does not apply to previous orders.

So which one is it??? Just online or in stores too??? Because I rather buy in store :D

LeeMiller, I got mine through email. NM sent me a code which applied to any purchase (not sale items). This was for the Nov 2012 event, if memory serves me right it was sometime around Thanksgiving. Or it could've been the one in early December? Either one, it was an open invitation to any shopper who spent X$, would get X$ in a gift card, you just had to enter the code when you checked out online and could purchase with any credit card.

During that time I ordered 1 BAL City Bag (around Thanksgiving) and then the BAL Day Bag (early Dec), but I returned the City bag, so the code I got was for the second purchase.

I got my code about 2-3 weeks ago and used it on a Gucci wallet :graucho: And there is an expiration date. I think it was three months after they email it to you.

I think there are two different GC events people are referring to:

One, is open for shoppers who have a Neiman Marcus credit card and purchase using that credit card.

The other one is open for anyone but you must spend the qualifying amount (on non-sale products) and put the offer code in during check-out. It'll take up to 8-weeks to receive your GC code in your email.

I have no idea how often NM does this but I'm hoping they do another one soon (the one open for all shoppers), like maybe for Valentine's Day or after! I'm eying another bag ;)
