Need some advice!

In my opinion, the satchel is much better-looking. But the tote is more functional if you need to carry around files, magazines, books, etc.

congrats, Coach!! Now we're satchel twins.

Enjoy! I was really admiring the tote too but IMO I don't like the partial zipper across the tops of so many of coach's bags. For me that was the deal breaker for the tote.

Congrats again on your gorgeous chelsea satchel!

I agree. I find the partial zipper annoying as well. But I did think the tote was very nice and the quality seemed better than the signature tote. I had the signature striped tote and it was falling apart twice at the bottom corners. The leather corner on the new tote are great!
