MZ Wallace Bags (Opinions on MZ Wallace Bags, Part 2)

Crosby Trois is here and it's going back. I'm glad I've seen it irl and now I can get it over my mind. The sequin is super glittery and the silver leather feels soft to touch. No slip or zip pockets in either pochette fyi. My mobile phone (oppo find X3 pro) is bigger so to fit in the sequin pochette I need to slant / angle the phone to go in.

Oh, forgot the last picture. Vachetta leather in brown. Clover green, yellow like the yellow wallet. One side of the zipper the leather is dryer than the other

Anyway, the iridescent Sutton is pebbled leather and I don’t have any of that from MZW and my 3 year old informed me his mom (that’s me) is buying a present for him to give to me so I’m buying it!!

That’s great that you are getting the iridescent Sutton as a present — can’t wait to see it. I am still deciding. Do they ship pretty fast? I know it says 3-7 business days. I am a little concerned it might arrive when I am away from home.

MZW usually ships very quickly, I usually receive 2-3 days after ordering. ms p seemed to receive her Crosby trois in just a few days and she’s in Singapore!? But we can’t predict delays 🤷‍♂️

And Opal Micro Sutton is sold out. I procrastinated as I don’t really need it (will maybe get a liquid midnight crossbody as gift ). I do think of a Coach clutch in a matte shimmery silver that held up well. If Opal comes back I may jump on it. Did @Iamminda go for it?? Hoping we see someone’s real life pictures.

Liquid midnight wow! Looks velvety. Definitely like peony, but somehow more impressive. I had hopes with both that it would be more resilient than the lacquers, but not sure. Just noticed a tag alongside the price tag saying “this material should be treated with care” (which was not on the peony Crosby crossbody). Probably the place to watch is the corners of the corners (literally where the fabric folds).

I wish they would measure and share wear rating for their fabrics/coatings like furniture upholstery has. It’d be awesome if they made comparisons to leather, something we are familiar with.

Anyway, this colorway has me liking the bag more than I otherwise would. It makes me feel like I should move back into a micro Sutton (currently back in denim micro metro tote). On a typical day out I use everything in a micro Sutton

I watched the page in case of any returns but today the page is gone. Someone posted a short on YouTube, it’s pretty gorgeous. Still have mixed feelings about having and using it so probably for the best that I got a dark bag instead. Is what I am telling myself

I have the flat metro crossbody in the this fabric. I got a bit nervous when I saw that tag, but I really liked it so I kept it. So far so good! I love the color. I wonder if they are putting the tags on so that people will be a bit gentler with them.

This color is beautiful!! It caught my attention when I saw it online awhile back and it is just as beautiful when I saw it in person at Nordstrom. It’s too bad they didn’t make the Micro Sutton in this color. Speaking of Micro Sutton, bummer that the iridescent one is completely sold out. Guess it was not meant to be for me. I am supposed to be on a semi-bag-ban so I have to limit myself to buying only a few bags. I wasn’t sure if the iridescent Sutton would be a good long-term fit in my collection so I hesitated when it was available. Oh well.

I am tempted by the silver reflective small empire. The previous reflective material some feedback it's a delicate fabric. Waiting to see review of this bag. But I wish they offer this style in Bedford material.
