Me too. I decided to return the pearl metallic metro (too white lol apparently I'm more comfortable with black). Tempted by rose sequin mini box tote or oyster metallic something. Does Oyster metallic look silver or lilac-silver?
I like the Rose sequin Mini Box Tote too..... however, like you, I am hesitant to invest in a light colored bag....

I have the Rose Gold Crosby sling and so far it has held up well....

For those who have the Deluxe Metro backpack, is there anything you DON'T like about it? I bought one yesterday for travel because I need something more ergonomic than a tote. But the capacity feels more limited than the deluxe metro tote, so now I wonder if it was worth it. Also, as the bag got heavier it def lost shape, so wondering if I'm better off with a Tumi.

I have never tried that one. I have an older Madelyn backpack from them that I use when traveling and it works great.

As far as MZW, the utility backpack, although unusual looking, is larger and can handle more volume. It has many more pockets too. The only funny thing about it are the top handles, which hang a bit loose.... however, it’s good to have the option of a backpack with handles. I like mine and would recommend.

Imho Tumy’s are the best backpacks.

I had the original metro backpack. It's nice for a lightweight backpack. But if u want to carry more, large metro will be better I think ? Tumi is better imo if u have laptop etc and need to look more formal/ office

I love the Tumi backpack I got for travel. I will say the style I got (which looks to be discontinued) is somewhat small for travel IMO, but it works for my needs. I love the compartments for organizing stuff and a dedicated pocket for my iPad pro it would also fit a laptop. I love that it has a sleeve on the back so you can slide it over the handle of your carry-on and its secure. Unlike trying to balance a tote ontop of a carry-on. It also shows no wear. If you don't need it right away I would keep a eye out for sales and check out Nordstrom rack too.

I thought I was done with mzw and sold a few. Unbelievably I'm left with 4 Mzw bags (the lowest number in recent years lol! But confession I did just buy a coach leather flap bag). I may have over did it i'm itching for a small-medium size crossbody now. Theoretically I can use the pewter crosby hobo as the crossbody bag so I don't have any excuse to buy another Mzw. I think I need to stop looking and step away. I'm still looking at the mini box tote and the 3 slings (metro Vs Bowery Vs crosby)

Please don't sell any bags if u are not ready. You have some beauties

I'm left with:
Black Small Madison shopper
Black Bowery backpack
Dawn Small Bowery Quatro
Pewter Crosby Hobo

I am so so late, but this is just so impressive. you've shown us many, many gorgeous bags with wonderful outfits. I have numerous bags I don't expect to use ever because I'm just not carrying heavier crossbodies or totes anymore. But I'm not realistically considering parting with them! Nice job managing your collection :)

I'm really puzzling over this.

1) Are the box totes as washable...? Will they lose shape?
2) Are the sequin bags (e.g. rose sequin) washable...??
3) Do the sequins snag fine fabrics? Or hold up to casual carefree use?

Honestly as washable as the quilted bags are, if a light bag like Rose got color transfer from denim or a black fabric, machine washing would probably still leave something behind. Seems like the sequins would make it harder to clean. Or maybe sequins can be protective?

Every pastel they've put out in the last couple years I adore but haven't dared to consider carrying. To quote pixiejenna's signature... "Its okay to like a bag and NOT own it!"

Thank u :) I buy and sell too much lol.

About sequins many years ago I had a Haiti sequin black small metro size bag. That one feels sturdy. But if I'm wearing delicate fabric I think it might snag the delicate fabric.

I still like sequin regardless haha. Super tempted to get something in oyster metallic or rose sequin. I wish there's black sequin mini box tote.

Thank you for mentioning about the sequins.... I have wondered about their quality and sturdiness....

I bought a black Mini Box Tote today for Mother’s Day..... black is safe.... I also like there is the least vachetta leather.... I am a terrible seller.... I have rarely sold a bag, however I pass them down to my family... I have a happy family as a result.

Wow u got one!!! Please share your thoughts when received. I keep thinking should I get a crosby sling or mini box tote. I'm looking for a crossbody bag (lol why am I still searching for bags when I have so many is beyond my understanding)
