This! Super basic but brought my Glitch scarf out to play tonight!!! Thank you for giving me more inspiration!!!View attachment 3573934

Please disregard the weird light from the blinds on my shirt!!

Oh! And I misspoke! This is my Memoire Vive scarf- it looks like a microchip when opened and forms an H- perfect for me since I work in tech :). I love this thread and how we inspire each other. Next time I'm going to record when MYH teaches knotting lol

I love this scarf and recently had my SA track it down. It's also a mix of cotton & silk which is quite comfortable to wear.
Because it looks like a microchip when opened but forms an H and includes the caleche & driver, this is also an awesome choice for any engineers in the crowd (especially an electrical).

Speaking of professions - I used to be a scientist and DH is still in the field so this tie really appealed to me. The tie is made up of tiny flasks. The tools are a bit old fashioned though [emoji23]. I've never used one of those accordion rulers ever. Flasks and test tubes, yes. On the same trip, I also wandered to Le Labo and was a sucker for the lab themed fragrance boutique and also bought a little something for myself. [emoji38]

This is lovely! I need to get more scarf rings but every time I intend to buy one I end up with a new scarf instead! HAHA

Wow this tie is cute for the chemists/chemical engineers among us. At 1st glance, I thought the accordion equipment was some sort of glass distillation tubing - which fits in with the Erlenmeyer flasks (especially the one bubbling away on the bunsen burner).....

You're welcome!! My hubs has yet to wear his but I'm sure he'll be flipping it over showing off the lab equipment on the tie when he does to show all his science colleagues!! So nice to meet other real housewives of scientists here!

Yes, this is too cute for science people. I will confess - if they made a science scarf, I would probably buy it for myself!

Another lab nerd here (molecular biologist)! I would totally buy a H science scarf-- Laboratorie du Temps colorways never wowed me in either the 90 or CSGM format. I recall Gap made a pair of men's boxed way back in the 90's with beakers and Erlenmeyer flasks. Of course, I bought a pair. They such a comfy loungey pants, wore them until they fell apart.

My scientist hubby is a bit absent minded, except when he tries new recipes. Then, he adamantly refuses to deviate from the ingredient list and the instructions: "But if you change anything in lab, the experiment fails!". :p I thought it was his personal quirk until two friends in research confessed to doing the same. Is anyone here in that boat?

Too bad DH doesn't care about clothes. He would probably shrug at the tie, even though he's probably appreciate the quality of the silk.

As a chemical engineer myself - after many years of analytical & organic chem labs - I too follow recipes EXACTLY - otherwise how else will the dish ever turn out properly? LOL
Fortunately, my DH is a biologist & has a more easy- going perspective on cooking....
