you're welcome...& I told ya so (you'd get used to them together & really like it)!!! I didn't hate to say that...LOL!

you are a high-fashion woman with exquisite style & taste (from what I have seen of you around here). you can pull off that much bling...in your sleep. & you don't need someone else to plan a matching set of anything for you...YOU decide what looks fabulous together!

I really hope you wear them both together. I'll say it again, I'm a huge fan of the collected wedding ring look rather than a matching set. I especially like it when the e-ring & band do NOT sit flush together. it looks so much better to me.

all of my best wishes for your future life, love, & happiness!

you know the more i stare at them together, the more i am getting used to it and loving it! i never dreamed an emerald and round stones would look good together! i guess i have a lot to learn when it comes to diamonds! :shame:

I like them separate; I agree as someone else mentioned, wear the solitaire on your right hand. I feel emerald and also Asscher cuts are so spectacular in a simple setting that other bling next to them just detracts (JMO :smile1:)

I have a pear shaped e ring, and the rest of the stones around it are rounds. I don't think anyone has to like your ring except for you :)

Again, I liked the 2 smaller bands around your e ring, but it looks amazing with the round band!

i feel the exact same way. i wear mine with different bands all the time, and i love it. and on many occasions, i'll wear the bands separately when i don't want to wear my e-ring (daughter's soccer game, skiing, etc.).

I like the first picture - with the 2 smaller eternity bands on either side of the engagement ring. It has a simple, elegant look to it. If you wear your wedding band on your right hand, it's no longer a wedding band in the eye of the beholder. I think the 5(?) stone ring looks awkward with the engagement ring when worn together.

anyway, i took some pics as you asked, what do you think? is it too much together, and does it look odd to mix and match the emerald and round stones on the same finger?

STUNNING! I think they look amazing together. Beautiful! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

I like my bands together.

Looking at your current pic, I don't think it's too much.

They are beautiful. So lovely. Much happiness to you guy's.

i've never heard of anyone doing that before, i thought wedding bands and engagements rings was all supposed to go on the same finger...mine are all going to be wore together like they are supposed to be.

thanks for your opinions and well wishes everyone!!! :flowers:

i am not a very traditional person so i don't really care what people would think, if i was married or not, or wearing my ring like i am "supposed" to.

i guess the best part about it is that i can wear it anyway i want! since they're not soldered together, i can wear them together if the mood strikes me, or separately if it does! all in all, i love my new wedding band, much better than the smaller asscher cut eternity one in the 1st pic....

designer_love, i don't think there is ONE WAY you're "SUPPOSED TO" wear your e-ring and wedding band. i think it's actually a very north american thing to have big diamond e-rings worn with diamond wedding bands... other countries don't wear their e-rings (or may not even be customary to have one), and have simpler platinum or gold wedding bands. and lots of people don't wear their erings later on in life, just their wedding band.
