do you think valparaiso a good everyday workbag where you can put a 14" laptop? is it possible to attach a shoulder strap?

The Valparaiso TGM has an inside pocket where a 14" laptop should have no trouble getting into.

You'll have to have a properly padded sleeve though. The toile-cotton is not exactly a great form of protection. And if the bag is not filled enough, that poor computer will swing about as the pocket is basically a sleeve that is sown at the upper part of the inside-rear of the bag.

And no.....there is nowhere to put a shoulder strap. In my case, it comes in useful only as a gym bag or as a piece of carry-on luggage(with no possibility of properly locking it!). A bti ridiculous but hey, it looks nice!
