I opted for tapered fold and had epicanthoplasty too. Had to wait a few weeks for the consult but surgery to recovery was smooth sailing. Doing this surgery really made a difference to me. I was scared about going for the surgery for a long time but your posts gave me confidence to go for it, so thank you!

It was great, thanks! She was so patient. I’m still trying to find a good time to go, a little worried about the swelling because the first time i got it done, i swelled really badly. How are your eyelids now? :)

Had my surgery 4 days ago. Before the surgery, I was.given a light sedative to help me relax. Really helped. Felt a bit of pinch when injections was given but overall quite painless. All I felt was doctor flipping my lids back and forth a few times, and seeing flashes of light. Think it took under an hour. I must have rested in the clinic for around 30 mins before I left in my sunnies. I've been using cool packs over my eyes and soothing eye drops last few days. Eyes was swollen and felt occassionlly gritty first 2 days, am glad it's much less puffy today. Here's my eye today.

There's some extra creasing at the inner corner. Sent a photo of my eyes to Dr Chia and she reassured me this will settle, quite common after creating parallel fold in tapered eyelids. Really hope so! Will post another update in a few days.

helloo it’s been around 2 years since you’ve got it done any updates did the crease decrease by a lot?

did ur crease decrease in height gradually? was thinking of getting it done as well but not sure if i shld ask for a higher crease just in case it drops overtime😅
