wow. i love this bag. what model is it please....
this was to be my first trip to africa. I was headed to zimbabwe for 10 days and didn't know what to expect. I assumed that waltzing around with the usual flashiness and flair that i would normally don for a trip to an american mall was a no-no.
I packed no make-up nor the usual high heels. I left my beloved dresses at home. The other concession i made was leaving the lv luggage and packing my belongings in a swiss army wheeled duffle. I had intended to not take any lv at all but realized too late that that would mean purchasing a whole new purse and all the accessories needed as well as sunglasses. So i headed to zimbabwe africa with the following lv pieces:
Speedy 40, eva clutch, phone case mm, okapi gm, wapity case, playing cards, business card holder, and marquise sunglasses.
Despite what one might think (and the many cnn news reports of strife), i had no problems carrying/wearing my lv around the country. It was actually so safe that i thought it less likely to be stolen there than in any of the big cities in the us. I will most certainly be taking the eole 50 or pegase 60 as well on the next trip over there.
Here are a few photos:
