oh my gosh what do u work in that u collect LV stuff like if they were cheap bags!?? lol i LOVE your collection, I currently only own the LV neverfull GM in pink...Im so envious of ur collection, beautiful!! lol

Seriously, just looking at your collection in this whole thread, you have inspired me :)

I am currently just graduated from college to become a paralegal and you have inspired me to work as hard as possible so that maybe one day I can be able to afford a beautiful collection like yours (or maybe half of it, I'm only 19, I can dream lol)

Thank you for the inspiration and the beautiful pics of your wonderful collection :)

This one often does double duty as I tend to keep my wallet & coin purse in the Eva and put the whole thing down inside other LV purses. It allows me to easily keep track of those important items in a large purse and also gives me the option of a smaller purse for impromtu after work outings where a big bag is just too much.

LOL .. I certainly don't collect LV like they were cheap bags. I am by no means rich enough to be flippant about the price of LV. What I am is an avid lover of the brand, one committed and focused on supporting that desire. It took many, many years of yearning and working before I was in a position to start collecting. Then a few years of blessings and bonuses to purchase the larger items until I had my heart's desire. Now, looking at the collection in it's entirety, doesn't give you the sense of effort it took to acquire it.

This was to be my first trip to Africa. I was headed to Zimbabwe for 10 days and didn't know what to expect. I assumed that waltzing around with the usual flashiness and flair that I would normally don for a trip to an American mall was a no-no.

I packed no make-up nor the usual high heels. I left my beloved dresses at home. The other concession I made was leaving the LV luggage and packing my belongings in a Swiss Army wheeled duffle. I had intended to not take any LV at all but realized too late that that would mean purchasing a whole new purse and all the accessories needed as well as sunglasses. So I headed to Zimbabwe Africa with the following LV pieces:

Speedy 40, Eva Clutch, Phone Case MM, Okapi GM, Wapity Case, Playing Cards, Business Card Holder, and Marquise Sunglasses.

Despite what one might think (and the many CNN news reports of strife), I had no problems carrying/wearing my LV around the country. It was actually so safe that I thought it less likely to be stolen there than in any of the big cities in the US. I will most certainly be taking the Eole 50 or Pegase 60 as well on the next trip over there.

Here are a few photos:

Maybe little girls are born with the knowledge imprinted on their genes. Maybe they learn it by watching women at the mall from the vantage point of their strollers. While I don't know exactly how, I do know that my 15 month old grand baby girl holds a purse like she was born to it. Handheld, over the arm or on the shoulder, she intuitively knows just what is needed to rock the look and wields it like a well practiced pro.

On this night, her first to carry the fuchsia Lexington which was her mom's very first Louis Vuitton purse, we were heading out to a private party at the LV store. I am truly thinking that, with a fashionable mom like hers and a grandmom who's an LV fanatic, she actually might just come by it naturally! No matter ... it is a trait I am willing to nurture, a habit I am willing to support.

What a great shot D! You're grandbaby is adorable and obviously has the exquisite taste of her grandmother. I'm really mad now that I didn't attend the event you two were going to this night. I had received the invite in the mail followed by a call from Cynthia. I had full intentions of going until something happened earlier that day with my mom. Maybe we can see each other at another event. I hope all is well with you and your family.

I'm so sorry that I didn't get to see you that night. I'm back in town for a while so let's get together soon. I'll PM you.
