Congrats! That's why I hesitate buying from them...got a CB retro and it reeked of mothballs. I tried everything and I couldn't get the smell out completely. Had to sell it and took a big loss. I would never sell a bag without disclosing that it smells like mothballs.

Congrats, don't worry, the mothball smell will go away....eventually. I used the cotton ball with vanilla extract method and it worked, but it took about a month or so for the smell to completely go away. This was just a cles, so a speedy might take longer. Don't give up on it, I didn't think my cles would ever smell normal and now it's totally good.

coffee is another trick...did not know about the febreeze...I take it that it is a spray...good tip Irene...that may smell even better than the coffee beans...
