Berlyn: I just wish the diamond bezel fit my lifestyle right now, but sadly I'll have to wait a few years (which will give me time to save) and get a black with diamond bezel! :D

bb: I can't help it, being a J12 owner, I am so enamoured with this style, I know that if you get it you'll be more and more happy with it every time you look at it! Was your BF with you? What did he say? They are both elegant IMO, but the J12 has that "edge".

The great thing is that when you get it, it'll still be beautiful! I can't see the j12 going out anytime soon, its such a modern classic!

Go for the Cartier Roadster! I have a Rolex in silver with a pink/salmon face and love it! I think it's a beautiful combo. I think your Roadster looks beautiful in this color combo as well!! I also like the fact that the Roadster has the "date" on it. I never know what date it is until I look at my watch, so I always want a watch with a date feature on it.

I think the Roadster is also very classic and you'll have it forever!!

Ok it sounds like you really have it in for the J12, although I'm partial to Cartier you have to get what your heart sings to and thats what I've picked up lol! btw thanks for checking tanks, too nice! (mens, steel)

The J12 also has the date! And as Berlyn said, the J12 is such a modern classic. It's certainly not a fad.
Bb you will love it SO much, I'm sure! You better post some pics when you get it! :graucho:

Definitely not a fad. The black j12 has been around for a pretty long time (not as long as the roadster lol), but still long enough to prove it has staying power and is not a trend. The white is new, but still also has a lasting presence. You can't really go wrong either way, but I'm still rooting for the j12 :graucho:

J12...black 38mm is gorgeous with diamond markers (abt $5200 if converted to US$...$8000 sing dollars)...just got it as my birthday present from my DH...
I've a quite small wrist & these 38mm size looks gd on my wrist...
