i have been eyeing the roadster too. i have yet to try it on!!
but i have been searching the net. i came across authenticwatches. com and you save at least 30%
they say their stock is authentic and comes with all the paper work. and the reason they sell it with a discount is because they buy in bulk because they sell huge quantities.

what do you think?

Hmmm..personally I won't get it online, unless I actually know someone who has brought it from them. If you go to some authentic Cartier dealer jewelers, they can give some discount for cartier watches if you offer to pay cash, plus more if you buy it overseas (so don't have to pay tax:graucho:).

^ i've got a tank. but i don't like it cause it's too small and feminine for me. i've got a santos and i wear her almost everyday! i absolutely love her chunky face and croc strap but recently i have a new found love which is my diamond dial AP (audemars piguet which i inherited from my mommy). god, i'm so fickle! lol. good luck on your present! let us know what you've decided!

i was supposed to get a diamond cartier love bangle for my upcoming birthday but i decided to drop it and get the diamond love ring instead and spend the rest of the remaining moolah on bags! i'm so hopeless! LOL.

xoxo

I like them both, the tank is a little more classic and the roadster a little chunkier, it depends on which you like better and your personal style if you prefer chunkier or more delicate...

I have the Cartier two tone Tank and a Tag aquaracer with pink MOP and diamond markers. Both are watches that suit me at different times, and in different moods. The Tank is incredibly understated. Yes, it has been ripped off a lot, but people who know designers can tell when it's the real deal. Everyone should own at least 1 Cartier watch in their lifetime. I think you should get watches as they suit you, funkier ones for when you're younger, moving onto the classics when you're a bit older.

I still have lots of watches on my wishlist to accumulate....mmmm.....:graucho:
