Finally got my black shiny calf small antigona yesterday. Have been waiting to get this bag for ages and after a few failed attempts (which is another story) I finally got my hands on her!

I'm 5.4". The medium felt too large on me.

You're lucky, I'm sure you could pull off either, I don't think the medium would look to big on you at your height

To be honest I haven't really used it on the shoulder as I'm more of a crook of the arm/handheld girl. I did briefly try it in store over my shoulder but I agree I'm not sure it really worked for me like that, but I haven't tried since
