I hadn't read this thread until recently and I wanted to purchase a white Goyard bag through this seller not knowing it was a fat scam, and it is the exact same person you all described! She wanted me to send the money via Western Union and when I said I wasn't comfortable with that, she said as long as I paid with a credit card I would be secure. WTF does that mean?! She also gave me a fake authentication service email ([email protected]) when the actual MyPoupette website emails all end in @mypoupette.com. The email I received "confirming" the bag was real was also sketchy, lots of misspellings and grammar mistakes that I don't think a reputable company would make. She also said to send the money to "Nicole Price" in Arkansas, even though the listing said she was located in Katy, Texas. I reported her to eBay, so hopefully they can do something! You'd think eBay would be smart enough to track down multiple accounts or something!

OMG Nicole Price - a friend of mine bought a bag from her all the way from the Philippines. She sent USD 550 via Western Union. I know, I know she should have. I didn't know she did it until after a month and she still didn't get her Goyard. Apparently "Nicole" said that her boss' son got murdered and that she is traumatize, yada yada yada. My friend tried to contact the police from the town of the address she gave for the Western Union. She told Nicole about her contacting the police. 3 days later, she got a fedex tracking number. My friend eventually got her bag - almost 60 days later, but I am not sure if it is authentic!!!

Right tpf members, I've just read this entire thread. Why are there so much scammers out there to make everyones lives miserable!? I honestly cannot believe this Lauren tpf member hasn't been chucked off here!!

The new Goyard needs reporting because someone made an offer!

^^I looked into her feedback as sarag did, and yes 10 buyers feedbacks. I thought, this is funny that they are all within a few minutes of each other, the ebayers have around the same amount of feedbacks and are all private listings so I clicked on one of the sellers. I remembered a few names of all her 84 private feedbacks, clicked back and then clicked another of her sellers and found all the same names. I checked on four of the sellers and all the same names. This is a WHOLE big set up for scams. I'm not sure my little brain can quite comprehend how this is set up and how everyone finds each other (or do I accept one person have a fair few Ebay accounts to proof her sales, in which isn't this a tad far and isn't it far easier to just get to your nearest casino!?)

I'm fairly new to all the scams people try to pull on Ebay. I've scarted to read the Ebay forum, and god, I know I will STAYSTAYSTAY away from buying bags on Ebay. But to all that have been here a while, perhaps you can figure this all out and get Ebay to shut this  all down!

I read NYCgirl's original threads but missed the last two she started.

If everyone comes together and contacts law enforcement she has attempted to defraud across state lines (internationally possibly)

BTW- how stupid is it that she registered with her "real" name used in one of the scams???

I have been looking for a used goyard bag for a while. I'm glad I found this place before buying from ebay. Do you think it is really possible for someone to set up something that large? Have all of the users had the same score of 10? I remember "phantomfashionista" and I almost purchased a bag from that person, but the feedback was over 300. Isn't it a new ebay requirement to have a paypal confirmed account linked to your ebay account? That requires a bank account and is it not impossible to open a bank account in a fraudulent name? If so, how does this person continue to link paypal? As well as the credit card confirmation needed for ebay....could it be that there are just a ton of scammers that surface with any designer label?

I'm an attorney in Wisconsin and honestly, I'm not sure how any of this would fly. Has anyone had any contact with law enforcement? What did they say?

^^ Brook,

Hang around here (ebay subforum) and you will be shocked.

Or.......... spend several hours reading some of these threads.

It's terrible!! (RomieOmie come to mind???)

We've been watching this scammer for quite some time. And looks like she's back again.

Law enforcement directs most complaints to the FBI or other federal agencies who really do nothing w/ these small time scammers.

So if you call the local law enforcement they are of no help?

I don't understand how one person could possibly get around eBay's specific requirements. Honestly, I can see opening a new account...setting it up to sell takes a lot more information, but since the paypal requirement...HOW? Think there is any chance this person works for eBay? Or could it just be a series of malicious people completely unconnected?

Please contact me using the "ask seller a question" feature before choosing "BUY NOW" to confirm your purchase.

The above statement is in her listing. That way she will try to talk her potential buyer out of using paypal and making a "deal" outside of ebay.

You cannot obtain contact information from ebay if the transaction is not through them.

I have never sold a designer bag, but my husband sold a car on eBay motors and requested that people contact him when making an offer so that he could "negotiate".

I admit that I don't know how it all works, but it seems near impossible to do what this person is doing.
