Hello everyone. I am possibly opening myself to a firing squad, however I think I need to take a chance on that and clear up some things. Firstly, I am the said user who you just knocked off my listing. Please understand that I have ABSOLUTELY NO CONNECTION with anyone mentioned above, whether the same person or a group of people. I am just an honest seller whom may have fell prey to a larger scam.

About a month ago I was told I could not list a designer item until I had more feedback. Conveniently opportunity knocked with a service offering to increase my feedback. Being somewhat new to eBay I took the risk of what he was offering unaware that it was causing any sort of problems. He took my account that I created and for a fee of $65 (talked down from the starting price of $75) he returned the account to me with a feedback score. I was happy that my number had gone up, but now I am not sure how to fix it. He did not provide any service that linked me with paypal. I opened that account by allowing them to verify my checking account.

He has "goyard" as a key word so that any search (granted you search long enough) will turn you to him. After reading this post, it does all make sense to me. It makes me sick! I am very sorry if by supporting this service someone has been hurt. Yes, I should have known better than fall for this, but I didn't.

Confession one, I modeled my listing after several different previously "sold" items on eBay. I was not aware that was against policy. But as for my goyard bag that was listed, it isn't a scam. I'm happy to meet anyone in person to see it, or meet anyone at Barneys in New York City, NY or the Goyard boutique in the city. My computer IP can also be checked to verify that I have no other accounts.

If possible, I would be more than happy (even grateful!) to get rid of the 10 feedback remarks he somehow managed to get on my account. Please help...it is not fair that I can not sell my bag because someone took advantage of me.

Hopefully by opening myself and my bad experience up here to the world someone can benefit from it gaining a sort of understanding. Also note that I have the person's email address if anyone would like it for verification.

What is the world is this?

Coach...Apparently nothing but a big scam. I had no idea that all of this was going on. Honestly, the only thing I really thought of was a quick way around a closed door. Should we all email him out of "interest" for his service and turn over the emails to eBay? or better yet the FBI!

I believe you can list a designer item even with 0 feedback...I have seen several sellers like this while browsing on eBay. Coincidentally, SaRaMcG has only two posts on tPF (both on this thread), and perhaps she is trying to make a play on words with my username? That story is way too complicated, and Lula is right...there are too many inconsistencies and out right confusing statements!

Hmmmmmmm

So you copied someone else's goyard listing.

What about the letter of authenticity from mypoupette that was stated in your listing?

And, yes, please expose this person who offers this "service".

$65.00 to build feedback w/ dollar items? Why couldn't you do that yourself?

I'm really confused.

Also the auction was reported because of multiple id's. Apparently ebay investigated this and I assume found a connection?

PS: She also has 10 feedbacks, all from private auctions, and NO feedback as a seller. That's exactly what her username "liphomeis" had.

Hi. Even though her feedback is set to private I was able to find 6 of the items she bought. Not sure if you can use this or not but I thought can't hurt to post.

Yes, I agree. The OP took my quote above out of context, that posting just doesn't make ANY sense. How the hell does one just create feedback???

I believe you can list a designer item even with 0 feedback..

Yes, you can but eBay "frowns" upon it and other users suggest to build feedback first.

Lula[/B] is right...there are too many inconsistencies and out right confusing statements!

I am not trying to hide the fact that I just now signed up for TPF. Prior to my listing being removed someone questioned me about what they read here, so of course I checked it out. My name is no sort of play on your name. My name is Sara McGambles (Sara is quite a common name). I really don't see any inconsistencies in what happened. It seems a very logical explanation to all that has been posted about.

GRO362, I did NOT copy anyone's listing. I looked at several different previously sold listings and fashioned mine in a like manner. eBay actually SUGGESTS that. And my listing makes no reference at all to any sort of MyPoupette letter. NOR did I know that the feedback was nothing more than private slop. :sick:The email address I used to communicate with him was [email protected] I can't guarantee he doesn't use others, but I know that one works. I will try to email him again and see if I get a response. If so, I will post it here.

eBay has not suspended my account, only removed my listing pending my completion of a trademark "quiz" so to say. :shrugs:
However, I know that because I was reported, eBay chooses to stay on the side of safety. I am asking all of you guys to give me a chance. It really is irrational to think that one person could create millions of accounts and never get caught but disbelieve that someone could create and sell feedback.

If you have this bag you say is real and you can back that, are you willing to meet me at Bergdorf Goodman, 754 5th ave tomorrow afternoon?

I will be there on business and tomorrow afternoon is the only time I have.

Yes I can see you tomorrow with the bag. I will send my phone number to your previously posted email address.:okay:

BrookD, who exactly are you and why are you meeting her? Are you planning to buy this bag? I find it funny that despite one other posting all the others you've made at TPF have something to do with this thread.

Why are you going to meet her there? Just have her show pics of it here to be authenticated.

All of the pictures were previously seen on eBay. There still seems to be doubt. I could post the pictures, but as someone said earlier, pictures are just pictures. I want to clear up my name and if a picture leaves doubt, having someone see it in person and allow the store to verify authenticity seems like the best options. Although I am open to others.
