I was planning to purchase this bag from eBay. When I ask around for advice I was directed here. I actually made an offer on this item because I thought it looked real...I don't want to buy something fake so I started asking questions on this post.

Gro, I talked to you personally. You know I was planning on buying this bag until you encouraged me otherwise. Is it against eBay policy to meet in person? I don't want to step on any toes.

SaRaMcG:

Are you ebay seller: berdorutes?

The listing of the goyard yesterday referred to an authentication letter.

Where did you get the letter?

GRO362, I did NOT copy anyone's listing. I looked at several different previously sold listings and fashioned mine in a like manner. eBay actually SUGGESTS that. And my listing makes no reference at all to any sort of MyPoupette letter. NOR did I know that the feedback was nothing more than private slop. :sick:The email address I used to communicate with him was [email protected] I can't guarantee he doesn't use others, but I know that one works. I will try to email him again and see if I get a response. If so, I will post it here.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

very fishy.

It does not matter to me if I am to meet BrookD or post pictures here or just completely leave all of you alone. But it is unfair to classify me as one to scam because it is the last thing from the truth. I am quite sure any one of you would be very disappointed and feel it was unfair. I am not trying to sell to anyone here, I only want to be fair and clear my name. I do not feel that is unreasonable.

Gro, my fiance was recently transferred to Fort Drum Army Base (10th Mountain Division) which is just outside of NYC. We are getting married and we are looking at a house to buy in that area. 10th mountain division 1st sgt major

That is why I am looking for used rather than new. It also seems convenient to meet in person before purchasing.

So you just happen to come here and talk publicly in a thread about an ebay Goyard scammer to meet up and look at the bag? What kind of expert are you BrookD to even tell if it's real even if you do meet her someplace?

I have a great idea!

I will also be in NYC tomorrow!

Why don't the three of us meet up, perhaps we could have lunch?

I have several Goyard pcs, I could check it out as well!

What time?

BrookD: Bergdorf employees aren't going to verify a bag for you, they don't do authentication. They could but want to protect themselves in case of an error and a lawsuit. It's better to get it authenticated either here or by a professional who does that, it will cost around $5.

Sara: Just post the pictures in this thread so we can see it. You probably had them uploaded somewhere to post them at ebay and if not you can get a free account on http://photobucket.com.
