Bags, I am not going specifically to meet this person. I have family in the city and I am in the beginning stage of moving. I am getting married and my future DH has been transferred to Ft. Drum, NY.

Sara, this may be a little too much to ask, but I would feel much more comfortable with all of this if you would allow me to do a "soft-hit" credit pull. It will go through my reputable WI business. If not, I understand. You can have your attorney contact me about it if you need a second opinion.

This evening we are having Naomi's Green Chili Chicken Tamales... best tamales "north of the border". And actually Bags, I ma not the cook, my DH is.. and he's done crawfish, but his specialty is crablegs & scallops, although is ribs are pretty darn good. Ya'll come on down!!

A soft-hit credit pull is when a "non-lender" checks a person's credit. It is considered a soft hit because it does not reduce your score like a regular pull from a bank, lending company, mortgage bank, credit card, etc. No credit is monetary credit can be issued by the company doing the pull.

Ellie, if this seller has nothing to hide, pulling her credit will completely confirm her identity. It will show her income v. expense and what kind of spending habbits she has. If a person has only one credit card with a limit of 3K and a yearly income of 30K, it is likely she did buy the bag. A credit line from Barney's, Bergdorfs, Macy's...high spending habbits, high income....not to mention a solid answer on who this person is. It was just a suggestion...she has every right to decline.

I thought you all were trying to determine if a Goyard was authentic? :confused1: Why doesn't the seller post pictures on TPF and it can be authenticated. There are so many individuals on this forum who have this ability. There is probably no need to meet in person.
