So what you are saying is you made a purchase, loved the bag, got to feeling paranoid about not buying directly from the store. So you called the store and they confirmed that the exact transaction you are holding receipt for took place, and you are still worried? How bout posting pictures so we can help?

If only I had found all of you before I saw a great white Goyard St. Louis on ebay last month and did a "buy-it-now" with L. Price in McRae, Arkansas (who revealed that her name was Lauren Baylee) and uses an email of "nicoleprice") with a personal check. She now has the identical photos including the Barney's receipt she sent me (!) listed <XXXXX>. When I contacted her yesterday she became very defensive. Note that in between the two white bag listings she listed (and presumably sold) a pink one using the same receipt (which shows two bags).

Ummm... is it a coincidence that the person defending the seller goes by the tPF username of LaurenBaylee? Or is that some kind of esoteric joke I missed?

As I said, the store can confirm a purchase, but not of a specific bag. As we all know, really detailed photos are difficult to take and even more difficult to analyze. I'll be in SFO next month, and will get the bag examined by the Goyard store personnel there.

Smart thinking to have the bag authenticated in person and good luck to you!

Of course you wouldn't find it interesting lauren.

Is it just a coincidence that you signed up soon after the OP posted?

You made an error signing up here using your name didn't you.

I really don't find it that interesting...it is simple to create a user name using any name. If you think you have a fake bag, please post pictures so we can offer opinions.

Check out this <listing http://cgi.ebay.com/Guaranteed-Authentic-Goyard-St-Louis-Tote-with-receipt_W0QQitemZ280282599769QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLuggage?hash=item280282599769&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318> please. It is advertised suspiciously like my questionable white bag was.
